Little key and aspirin didn’t work…the game is stuck …

The 3-D background with the 2-D characters is a really nice touch. I love this game, and even though there’s a ton of (optional) ad-watching to earn more shells, it’s nice to have a way to support the developer without making microtransactions. Fun dialogue- it IS a little tricky, though, waiting for the shop to randomly have an item you need to progress in a quest.

Hello reader! I am writing this review for my own publication reason and opinion. Please don’t ask anymore questions. But anyway to my review, it was very good but it was really laggy on my brothers iPhone, which I don’t know if he was faking. I hope he wasn’t… I will be sad if he was lying to me! 😭 Other than that it is a very good game! Very entertaining and fun also cured my boredom. Helping me boredom 24/7. (Because I have nothing to do)

Shell payouts need to be increased. Affording only 1-2 items a day while watching ads isn’t fun

This game is very entertaining with lots to do but coming back after a year I realized how little they’ve done with the game, there has been no new updates for a year besides a bug fix update a month ago (which doesn’t count). It’s very disappointing to me and this style of game is probably my favorite among all the hyperbeard games. There is also a offer glitch for free shells but once you get to the offer page it says “dogllars” instead of “shells”, I have no idea how this happened? it’s not even the right currency of the game. So right now the offer page is completely glitched and I can’t get any free shells by completing offers. Due to this glitch, I have to rate the game 2 stars since doing offers was like my main source of shells.

It is cute and fun, but sometimes I’ll get the item I need and it doesn’t trigger anything until I try visiting the person multiple times. Also the tasks don’t always update when they should. I like that you can come and go as you please though, no timed actions or anything makes for a relaxing game.

I loved this game during lockdown. But over two years later and there’s hardly any content added. On top of that, my game gets so glitched sometimes that it won’t load quests properly so I can’t progress in the story. So I have to wait for a new update just to play properly because I can’t delete the app without completely losing everything. This game has so much potential. The characters are likable, the stories are fun, and I don’t mind having to return at certain times in order to progress. But it seems the developers no longer care and it’s disappointing.

such a cute game but the developers ditching it is so frustrating?? if you look up the plans they had on the wiki for it, it's so interesting!! It's so annoying to see them make new games and ignore my girl kiki, my dear farm was such a flop in comparison to the gameplay and quests of kiki. Finish it, developers!!!!!

Kiki’s vacation reminds me a lot of Tsuki Adventure. Both games are passive adventure game where the player makes money over time and uses that money to advance the story. This passive adventure concept is unique and great if you prefer brief phone games that get you in and out after a couple of minutes or so. Kiki’s Vacation does a great job at ambiance, graphics, and story. A cat is tired of her city life and wants to enjoy a long term move to a tropical island. The story evolves over time, and we as Kiki get the opportunity to help her collect as many vacation experiences as we can in the form of Instagram selfies. The selfie hunt gameplay is adorable. It’s like a mystery, trying to search and discover every nook and cranny of every environment The villagers in the game are really cute. Kiki can interact with most of them, and interactions change depending on what day it is. Interacting with them more may progress the story, but due to the nature of the “selfie hunt” the game tries to give you obscurity over direct linearness of what you’re supposed to do next, which is really cool. It makes the vacation feel more natural. One thing this game does which I’m very disappointed about, is how obtrusive the advertisements are. They never used to be this way. Kiki’s radio breaks. Why not watch an ad? Ran out of stuff to shop for? Watch an ad to replenish it. Need to do xyz? Watch an ad. And these advertisements are annoying. Tiny, obtrusive close boxes. I’m sorry Hyperbeard, I know that you are doing this for money - but this is ruining the integrity of Kiki’s Vacation. You mind as well rename the game “Kiki’s Timeshare: Vacation with endless ads”. I appreciate that you’re trying to monetize your game, but this is unacceptable. It’s ruining your game. Maybe consider making an Apple Arcade version of Kiki’s Adventure that doesn’t use ads at all, and is more generous with shell outputs. I would love a version of this game that has no in-app purchases, advertisements, or anything that’s deceptive. A true, premium, Kiki’s adventure that could be released to Apple Arcade and go all in on being a premium experience, is sustainable, and fun. Hyperbeard, I love your games, but please do something about fixing Kiki’s vacation. This game is awesome, and it’s upsetting what you’ve done with it. Even the VIP area being 1000 shells a week is weird. It wouldn’t be as bad if it were a permanent upgrade, but the way you advertise it and everything just make
