Game is great and fun. But it’s a pay to win game. And they should offer rewards instead of paying for everything

Unskippable intro

The intro crashes my iPad, and there is no way to skip it. Thus I can’t play at all. On iPadOS 17.7.10

The game is practically a Clash Royale Ripoff right down to the UI, obviously a money grab, and besides the art style and audio cues, you wouldn’t know it’s a Kingdom Rush game. Very far fetched from the gameplay that made the others so enjoyable

Sad Departure for a Legendary Franchise

A disappointing pay to win mess. This game could have been great. I have nothing against free-to-play, Ironhide is a great developer and the only way to survive at scale on the App Store is FtP. But the level of pay to win in this game is extreme. Good luck if you don’t have a dragon hero, you’re basically filler content for paid players to beat up on. Everything is metered to death, and the constant monetization popups are silly. Looks like a Clash Royale monetization copy without really understanding what makes CR great for payers and non-payers. Play the first 30 mins then just uninstall.

I played the other tower defense games which were amazing and this is another good game.

Moving Allies

I absolutely love the Kingdom Rush series and all of the installments. I had pre ordered this game and have had a lot of fun playing. I do have a legitimate gripe about moving around heroes, barracks and reinforcements. Along with placing spells as soon as they become available after cooldown. I can never seem to move my troops consistently due to grabbing the wrong character or the game won’t let me place troops down if it’s in a rally point. I personally would love to see the dragging of troops ability removed as I think it too much and isn’t consistent. I also think that if you are able to select an ability when it’s on cooldown that as soon as it becomes available I should be able to use it, not having to go deselect and then select again. Please please look into both of these. Thank you thank you!!
