knitCompanion knitting & more

Ever since the most recent update a couple of weeks ago when I try to add PDF content to an existing pattern in knitcompanion it just hangs and won’t do it. I have been using this feature for years in knitalongs with no problem until now.

I love this product. I havent referred to a paper pattern since I installed this app. It is so useful, it even allows you photograph paper patterns from you books and upload into the app so you only ever need your knitting and not the books. You dont even need stitch counters because it allows you to keep track of where in the pattern you are up to. It has the ability to also take notes and scribble on your pattern (and then erase). You can connect to your ravelry account or dropbox folder too. Its just so smart. Occassionally it has a glitch where the saved patterns dont load but after a few goes it resets itself and its fine again. I've recommended it to everyone that does pattern work with either knitting or crochet. Everyone should have this app its a game changer. 5 stars from me!

Since the new update every time I try create a custom marker the whole app freezes so I can’t even set up my new page 😠

Thoroughly recommend this App. I have a small handmade business and use it everyday. All my past and present projects are on it. Keeps track of everything. Love it. I use it for both crochet and knitting. Thankyou for a great tool.

Love the app so far but it’s not sharing between iPhone and iPad..I have to open both to make sure they are both on the same page. Am I doing something wrong? I only have the free version but considering upgrading…

This is a fantastic app, very easy to use and a god send for keeping a record of where you are up to. Can high.y recommend.

I have used this app for a few years now and still am learning from it. I just wish I could use the row marker/counter on cropped chart pieces so I can use the magic marked chart and know what row I am up to the next time I pick my work up. All in all though, a go to app for making easy work of your knitting projects. Well done!

This is the best discovery I have made in years‼️ I am an experienced knitter, but had never used a graph before as I always got lost; crossing out rows as I worked my way across each one, trying to focus on where I was at in the design. However this app has changed my knitting world‼️ it enables me to expand the graph., follow exactly where I’m up to and I can put my project down and easily pick up exactly where I left it. To be able to store all my patterns digitally when I download, or from old patterns photocopying them as PDF files. I love, love, love this fabulous app and I’m very happy to pay a yearly subscription for the rest of my knitting lifetime❣️❣️

I love the app but I find it hard to use and what makes it harder is there are no instructions easily accessible to help. I don’t like thinking of names for projects would like a choice of using pattern name. I think it would be great just to make instructions a little bit easier to find.

A great app! Easy to pull up any pattern from Ravelry or any pdf pattern through drop box. Love it!
