KORG iWAVESTATION

Amazing app but desperately needs Auv3.

This app would get so much more use if I could pull it up in Cubasis like the M1….I won’t buy another app that doesn’t support Auv3 at this point….Otherwise love the app…..

These sounds are amazing but I can’t use it on Logic Pro for the iPod please update

I cannot overstate how much I appreciate its incredible sound design capabilities and the unique joy it brings to my workflow. However, it’s baffling and frustrating that in 2025, this otherwise stellar app still lacks AUV3 support. It feels like a glaring omission, especially when so many of us in the community have repeatedly requested this feature in reviews, forums, and direct feedback. AUV3 is no longer a luxury—it’s the industry standard for integrating apps into modern DAWs. Without it, the iWAVESTATION feels isolated, a gem locked away in a standalone silo that makes seamless workflows unnecessarily difficult. As someone who relies on apps like this, the inability to use iWAVESTATION as an AUV3 plugin forces compromises that detract from its potential. It’s particularly frustrating when so many of your other apps already support AUV3. I understand that development resources are limited, and adding AUV3 support might not be a simple task. But consider the sheer number of users who would not only appreciate this feature but also actively promote and use iWAVESTATION even more if it were implemented. Your community is passionate and dedicated to Korg’s legacy—this is clear from the continued outpouring of requests for this feature. Korg, please don’t let this app fall behind in an ecosystem that is moving forward. The lack of AUV3 is no longer just an inconvenience—it’s a major roadblock for your most loyal users. I implore you to listen to the consistent feedback and prioritize this feature in your updates. The potential for iWAVESTATION to shine as part of an integrated workflow is too great to ignore.

Others have mentioned. Add me to the list. Please add AUv3 to ALL of your instruments. It prevents me from using these wonderful instruments effectively in live performance.

I absolutely love this app. The sounds of remarkable and I love being able to use my old libraries from my original wave station. My only complaint is the lack of support for mini mapping. With so many variables, the user needs easier access to those controls.

Has the best of the Wavestation and a pretty unique UI to see what is going on (much more information than you could ever see on the original unit). I’m a huge fan of the Wavestation and also own the Mac version from Korg Colleciton. I’m moving to iPad for some performances, and I’d love to be able to use Wavestation in host apps. Please add AUv3 support like you did with the iM1 (which is amazing, as well). Thank you!

The sound quality and UI design are perfect. However, this is not a synth for the faint of heart unless you just play presets. Wavesequencing is infamously one of the most complex, but rewarding, types of synthesis. This is actually the strongest feature to me, my desert island synth would be hardware but if it had to be software this would 100% be my pick because I would never get bored.

First of all this app is wonderful!!! But this is 2024. Inter app audio plugins is in the past and crashes constantly. Please do us all a favor with all your apps and make them Auv3 compatible . It’s ashamed to have apps this good and people are not able to create with these wonderful sounds because you missed the mark because it was overlooked or a mistake . Music is evolving and we need great apps like this to evolve with us. Just because the Wavestation was made in the 90s does not mean this app has to stay in the past with it😂…. Just kidding( but I’m not really ) Please fix this, it’s too good to mess this up!

So I’m very glad that Korg has kept up so many apps for so long, but I feel they are kind of behind with the importatnt stuff. By that I am am mainly talking about au3 support. Inter app audio is just not good enough, it crashes, states do not save, poor cpu handling…. Really at this point inter app audio is an afterthought, I never use inter app audio at this point. I bought this app in 2024 even though I know there is no au3 support, but I’m hoping that korg sees that there are users that are willing to buy more with au3 in mind. I have most of the korg apps but there are 2 more I have not purchased for the same reason. It’s a real shame, this app is great, no other significant complaints. I would use this a lot if it supported au3. I’ll be crossing my fingers.
