Better all the time
It’s a great app, and I’ve been impressed with how they’ve expanded it to include other documents over time. If only we could renew our brake tags so easily, eh?

LA Wallet will allow you to keep a digital representation of your current Louisiana-issued state ID or driver's license. The app will generate a unique image that is 100% Legal for driving purposes per Louisiana law of Act 625 of the 2016 session and approved by the Louisiana ATC for age-restricted purchases at various local restaurants, bars, and retail outlets. Once a user activates their current, valid license in LA Wallet, the digital driver’s license is valid for the life of the user’s current identity credential issuance. When the user’s physical license expires, they must renew their license with the OMV or through the LA Wallet app, if eligible. Additionally, LA Wallet offers the paid service VerifyYou™ Pro, an age-verification tool that helps keep businesses ATC compliant when offering home delivery of age-restricted goods.

Zero App Support
It has been days since I submitted a support case. No notification that they have even looked into the matter. The website for support also has very limited content. I’m not sure this app is supported
New Registration Certificate will not upload
Application currently will not update new Registration Certificate - and will not allow to enter customer support details.
Can’t add my license
It keeps saying my license could not be found, so I can’t add it. My license is recent, valid, and nonexpired, so I don’t know why this is happening
Worthless
I scanned the barcode on my drivers license to upload it and I got an error message saying I had not entered all the necessary information. I contacted their help desk by email on December 18th. They admitted to a bug that was supposed to be fixed “soon”. It’s now February 5th and still no fix.
My info doesn’t show
Only info that shows is my CDL. My gun permit, or vehicles won’t show. It shows my old vehicle, which no longer is registered in the state and was even sold almost a year ago. The idea of this app is good, but functionality of it isn’t worth a flip.
Out of the country
I recently went on my 1st ever cruise (I am 76) We went on an excursion in the Dominican Republic. As we are going back to the boat I discovered I had left my ID onboard. Panic Then I remembered LA Wallet! Thank God I had internet service It worked and I used in in the Virgin Islands and also to re-enter the good old USA
Needs Apple Wallet support
Updated feature request: please add state parks annual pass! Having to carry around a paper card (not even laminated) all year in this day and age is frustrating. Great app. I love that Louisiana is getting with the digital times. It’d be great if I could add my DL to my Wallet. I’ve got all my other cards, just need my DL and I’d be all set.

says audit number is wrong, but the same audit number is on my physical license
Not Military Friendly
If you are stationed here and do not have a Louisiana license, don’t bother. Really inconvenient for AD military.
