Language Lab

Very annoying. I am studying the Spanish Verb Tenses by Dorothy Richmond. When I try to play the Spanish version of a translation, there is no audio. The audio works for Sample Sentences and for Verb Conjugations but not for any translations. I have sent messages to the MH Language Lab but have not received any response.

All the multiple choice question answers in quizzes are blank. The audio is read by a robot voice, not a person.

The content of this app has clearly not been proofread. You could potentially be learning the wrong info by using this app. Stick to the books instead.

I'll keep in installed just in case, because the book I bought is great and this goes with it. However, it is obvious they just slapped this together to be able to say that there's a companion app included, not to actually enhance your learning in a material way.

It seems you cannot leave the app and return to it in the middle of your drills without it becoming unresponsive. The play button for audio is also at the top and very tiny and cumbersome to use.

I would rate it excellent if I could slow down the audio. Very useful app. Oct19

I really wish there was audio, because it gets annoying having to look up almost every word, so I can hear how it’s pronounced. Other wise than that, it’s a pretty good app.

A great upgrade

I love this app, most reviews are complaints about the audio but in the Japanese language lab it’s perfectly fine for me? Really useful actually, and a really good app.

There is no audio for the passages.
