Last.fm

Tracks all music I listen on my Mobile. Rate 5 stars. But actually I can't log in with my account cause the app opens an in-app browser to log in and then tells me inside theyr own app that the used API is not valid. Guys find the bug and smash it please!

I think the app itself looks nice, but that’s all it has going for it really. It has a tendency to not log a lot of tracks, or sometimes it does but doesn’t register until much later which causes a lot of confusion. I was losing out on a lot of scrobbles due to this. For some reason if you listen to something on Apple Music and it isn’t in your library, it won’t ever recognize the track. I think the issue is making it to where it scans instead of auto scrobbling. It’s kind of sad how third party apps work better than the official one.

I scan and nothing happens. I’ve tried reconnecting and everything but can’t get my scrobbles to show up 😔

Lately it’s not recognizing what I’m listening to in Apple Music even when both apps are open the whole time. I see it hasn’t been updated since last year- maybe it’s time, guys, especially if you’re jacking up the pro fees so much.

Great app that works perfect for its intended purpose! I don’t think it counts Spotify scrobbles but it does count scrobbles from when you listen to a song from the embedded YouTube video on the Last.fm website which was pretty helpful for the new Cindy Lee album. My only concern is that Last.fm seems to confuse songs that have the same title and same artist but are from different albums. KGLW is the name of two different tracks on two different albums by King Gizzard, but no matter which one you listen to, Last.fm only scrobbles the version on one of the albums, which has led to “KGLW” from L.W. being one of my top tracks despite not really listening to it that much. I’m sure there are other instances of this as well, but I really hope they fix it because it’s a massive inaccuracy.

unless you use apple music there is absolutely no point in downloading this. just use openscrobbler

Often I don’t finish songs completely- just as it’s in the final bits I’ll change the song, OR I’ll restart it. I asked my friend how to fix it and they- an android user- had an easy time because it’s right there in the android settings. For some odd reason that doesn’t exist on the iOS version. It’s frustrating and disheartening. Still, a fun thing to use with my friends to see how we match up. I just wish I didn’t have to go through loops just to do a simple setting that already exists for others…

good at 1st only to see recent & total # of scrobbles. charts r locked behind paywall, app wont track anymore now. useless
