Laudate - # 1 App Católica

1-Esta aplicação deveria permitir sincronizar as "Minhas Orações" com os restantes dispositivos (IPad, IPhone, MacBook, etc), onde a aplicação foi instalada. 2-Deveria ainda ter adicionado um botão directo de envio por email, do Evangelho Diário, orações, etc. 3-Na parte de Liturgia Diária, em concreto no Santo do Dia, deveria ter um link para a sua biografia na Wikipédia, bem como para outras páginas que se considerem relevantes. 4-A aplicação Laudate poderia ainda conter os "Laudos e Vésperas', bem como o Missal diário em Português e em Latim.

The Saint biographies seem to have been outsourced by either a non-English speaker or non-Catholic - or perhaps, both! They haven’t always been like that, but lately when I’ve gone to Saint of the day, it either puts the main Saint 3 or 4 bios down, or bungles the stories. Today, for example, is the feast of St. Boniface. He is a martyr, and there is literally no information about his martyrdom (other than he was martyred in June of 754)!

I love this app. Every morning I read the daily Bible verses, daily prayer, reflections, and Saint of the Day. Before mass I read the confession examination of conscience before receiving communion. Excellent podcasts, the entire Bible, the Rosary, special interest prayers, etc etc etc. Also a host of others related to the Catholic faith. One can find prayers in times of struggle, prayers for Thanksgiving, holidays, etc. In a world where so much turmoil is happening, it is easy to sometimes doubt one’s faith. This app gets me right back on track. And I can take the entire Bible with me wherever I go on my phone.

Soooo many prayers and links. Whoever it is they are great

As I was reading the daily Bible verse on May 5, (You Are Chosen) the reading stated, ”I feel”. Who is I? They also wrote we are chosen and Trump was chosen. I was very disappointed when I read this! Why is this even in our readings, etc? That’s why I ask, who is I? Who is the writer of these bible versus etc? This was not in my Catholic Bible!

Like what is that verse of the day?? Cmon.

Only suggestion would be to allow prayers in various languages to be bookmarked. I like switching between Latin, Spanish and English. However in doing so you’ll lose your bookmark in the other languages

Laudate is the most dependable Catholic App that I use. It never crashes. It has rosary beads that turn color when they are touched, one by one, to keep track of where I am in the prayers. Interface is easy to understand. It has prayers in English and in Latin. There are two bible translations. It links to the daily Mass readings. The background colors used are easy on the eyes. There is so much to explore — various radio stations, media. It’s incredibly simple to use and yet has a ton of good solid Catholic resources. It’s designed so well.

I like this app and used it regularly, but it’s frustrating to have the back button inoperable or entirely disappear at times. Also please make the calendar more relevant and less generic. Adding feast days and liturgical colors would be a great addition!

I’ve been using it for years, and it’s gotten consistently better!
