Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Launch Center Pro is run in the background for just a few seconds when entering or leaving an iBeacon region or geofence. If you use iBeacons or geofences and are concerned about battery life, keep an eye on the new Battery Usage section of the Settings app.
Subscription Details:
- At confirmation of purchase, or following the completion of a free-trial period, payment will be charged to your iTunes account.
- Your subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current subscription period. Automatic renewals will cost the same price you were originally charged for the subscription.
- You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

This app hasn’t been updated in 4 years, however, it works and with iOS 18 there’s a new reason to like it. By changing the camera shortcut on the Lock Screen to launch center pro, you can create your own little focused quick launcher. I have a combination of app shortcuts, iOS shortcuts, and folders with bookmarks, contacts, and other useful tools. The app also works to create replacement home screen icons for theme fans out there, but since it hasn’t been updated recently you may need to use the iOS url scheme addresses to fill in the blanks (search iOS url scheme to learn more about launching apps using that method).

I’ve been using it for almost a decade. It’s the smoothest, most satisfying way to use the iPhone. With the ability to make shortcut icons for apps that aren’t natively available already in the program, you can use Launch Center Pro to instantly open your apps with a flick of the finger. My iPhone wouldn’t be the same without it…

Bring it back please!!! Amazing App! The new iOS BETA certainly neuters this widget and single launch bar icon focused app. Duplicate app icons within app groups is far far less intuitive and fast to navigate. This app has lived in my dock for the last decade. I take for granted the fact that this app is rock solid reliable. Yes, in the performance of the app, but also in its design: Icons are *always* in the same place. There are no ads or “ai suggestions”.

Dev shop that consistently abandons apps

By purchasing/subscribing to multiple apps from this dev shop, I’ve learned the hard way that they care nothing about their users. It’s typically for them to stop supporting apps months after they are released. Subscription apps that go 3+ years without receiving a single update should be removed from the App Store by Apple.
