The lawnerds have spoken. This app is the best. It’s so refreshing to have a creator do what they can provide a higher quality experience for their community. Plus it doesn’t break as often (a joke about the power of the lawnerds to break websites). Developers your doing some good work here for us. We thank you. Please update for WatchOS 10 and later (series 8/9). When I get a notification on my watch, it shows the Law Nerd icon and says “Emily…..has sent you a message” and the only option is the “Dismiss” button. There is no option to open/read or view the message. It should (also) have a “Read” or “View” (the message) button. I’ve checked for more options by scroll and swipe, nothing. I only have my watch on-hand at work most times, so having the ability to view its messages would be extremely helpful. Other than that, the app is perfect.

Emily has taught me so much about the law and has converted me to a full time Law Nerd. I love her commentary and am so happy to have an app that keeps me up to date on all things Law Nerd.

Love this app as I was one person who YouTube had been changing my notifications, and I constantly had to check an make sure they were turned on, and even then a lot of times YouTube never sent notifying me of EDB’s msgs or live notices. Since downloading and using this app I have yet to miss a single notification of when EDB is going live, posted shorts, or is going live as well as a description of the content. If you’re a Law Nerd or just an EDB fan this app is GOLD! I cannot say enough about it. To end, I’ve probably only written a review a handful of times (less then 20 times) over the past 20+ years I’ve been using Apple, and this is the best review I’ve given any app out of the handful of reviews if written in the past. GOLD!! 🫶🏼

Love the app! In general I love everything Emily does. I’ve been obsessed since the Girardi case was breaking and the channel was small. Some things I follow more than others but I just love Emily’s explaination of things, humor and her general demeanor just makes me happy for whatever reason. I’d call it my comfort show and I know whatever Emily makes, I’ll probably love

The easiest way to keep up with all the Law Nerd goodness. Everything is in one place. No need to check for updates on the YouTube. Alerts are excellent and timely.

This is a great app. I was fortunate to always get notifications the old way but I am loving this new app. Thanks again for providing the app. Works great !

She's moved her notifications to this app so I downloaded this app! Lol I found & watch her on YouTube. She is funny, genuine, and walks her crew through law in the news- breaking it down- answering any questions she can, with the information that is given in the particular situation and her outstanding knowledge of the law. She IS actually a former prosecutor so she isn't just throwing random opinions or mindless thoughts that occur to her 😆 She KNOWS what she's talking about! Can some of the legal details seem 'repetitive'? SURE! And- if you actually have dealt with the law 'real life' then you know that what could be perceived as such could also be considered 'thorough and meticulous' so that either side of the court can rest assured that they have done their very best. Even so- Emily can make the times where there seem to be needless hiccups entertaining! She will explain possibilities then- there are points where she, too, shares in the group's frustrations. It is like we- collectively- are able to have a guided tour, with inside jokes, and a trusted, wonderful, knowledgable hostess - who doesn't have a stake in the case, doesn't sensationalize the details, doesn't try to sway our views, but just wants us to see what is being presented. I personally love that! She's awesome. 💜💜💜 Love how she & her family, her cats 🤣, interact too. Ten out of TEN! Her, Legal Eagle, and Leeja Miller- are all TOPS in LawTube- but she's the BEST Law nerd 💜💜💜

For those of us wanting to dig into legal issues, EDB is my happy place. Trying to keep track of her can be…challenging. She struggled with trying to keep us updated with all the different social media platforms, and we said she should just build her own app. She asked us what it should contain…and she delivered!! One place now for all the notifications…not text (US only), plus email plus Insta plus plus plus…just one place with push notifications. Thank you Team Baker!

As a former systems analyst, I have nothing but praise for the Law Nerd app. Setup was quick and straightforward, and navigation is intuitive. Clearly the app has been designed for the seamless addition of new features. My top requests: 1. A calendar showing Members Only events (including weekly BTS podcast recording sessions,) Emily’s blackout dates for travel, Emily’s appearances on other channels or platforms, and of course the regular livestreams and podcast drops. Ideally we could filter/search by topic/case as well as by type of event. 2. Ongoing live chat, so we can keep talking regardless of a stream’s being over. 3. Brief descriptions, links, and promo codes for all current sponsorship deals. Development team, take your time as you continue adding onto this fantastic product. Version 1.0 has set the bar very high, which bodes very well for whatever you have in mind for the future.
