Learn Chess with Dr. Wolf

So I tried the free first day, and I noticed a few discrepancies that the game is missing to make it perfect. I'll start with the good points. The interface is excellent, Dr. Wolf has a gentle and profitable way of teaching that would suit everyone, followed by warm music and voice, you’ve got the perfect combo. Not to mention all the options available to us: undo, tips, hint, adjust the strength of the play, lesson, train… and the small details, like when you quit the app and come back, he says ‘nice to see you back at the table,’ which really shows that the game is complete. Great work, the developers can be proud!! Now for the points that would need some changes. First, I find that the chessboard is way too light as in colors, and as a beginner, it’s sometimes hard for me to see the entire board display. I think we should be able to choose between different board themes. More importantly, while playing, there’s an option missing that would show the best move each time by clicking a button. Sometimes, I play, the professor says ‘well done,’ and then takes one of my pawns, which clearly means it wasn’t the best option, even if my move wasn’t bad in itself. If it's a computer coaching us, it might as well turn us into a machine. The last point, and for me the most important one, is the cost. The game absolutely deserves the price; the work behind it is outstanding. But not everyone can afford that amount. Let’s be honest, €5.99 per month is what I pay for my Max subscription, which gives me thousands of movies and series… Compared to a chess app, I think people’s choice is obvious, especially knowing that your target audience is beginners – people who won’t invest a lot of time in this discipline, so why invest so much money? The yearly subscription is fairer at €3.33 per month, which is more affordable. But in just one day, can we really know if we’ll use the app for a whole year and that our €40 won’t be wasted? So I have an alternative for people like me that I mentioned, and it’s something many companies already do: ads and a points system. You get paid, and we don’t pay anything. Everybody’s happy. The more ads we watch, the more points we earn, and once we reach a certain amount, we could get a session with advice, for example. Thank you for your work, I never post reviews, this is the first time, but I was so won over by this app that I had to tell you. I hope you’ll consider my feedback<3 keep up the great work :))

Très bon jeu de simulation. Aide également à mémoriser et à comprendre les règles de base

There would be no stars but you have to put a star just invite a review don’t bother with this app it’s garbage they cheat it’s a complete waste of time if you have it delete it if you’re curious don’t bother they don’t give puzzles It does not help you to improve waste of time garbage out don’t bother warn other people

Cette application est géniale,malheureusement elle n’est pas en français et pour ceux comme moi qui ne pipe rien en anglais, c’est décevant. Dommage…

Coach payant alors que Chess.com pour le même prix offre plus de lessons, des problèmes et des bots illimités. Je ne vois aucun intérêt à payer pour cette app, et meme comme simple app d'échecs, les offres intempestives de payer l'abonnement rendent l'expérience désagréable.

Merci de corriger le bug récurrent faisant planter l’application au lancement de « how to mate with rook » Même après mise a jour lappli bug encore. Impossible de lancer.

Pour apprendre je crois que c’est parmi les meilleurs app.

Good app but become quickly as winning games is far too easy. Changing levels is not possible? Stuck at bigginner level where i the mistakes and blunders the computers make are so gross you feel like steeling candies from a toddler. that’s what mskes this potentially good app BORING
