Learn Japanese: Sensei

A very well done, simple and free app porting the Tae Kim’s Japanese guide to grammar with an additional handy progress measuring. No redundant bells and whistles, containing only the content it was designed for. I’m a huge fan, keep up the great work the way you do!

Very good realised application good work !

I was learning Japanese on Duolingo and it seemed to be taking an inordinately long time. Then I found this app. It is amazing! It teaches you Japanese not like an English speaker thinks, but as a native Japanese speaker thinks, which was just what I wanted! Thank you Tae Kim for a great app!

I have been studying Japanese for 13 years. I discovered Tae Kim’s guide several years ago and it changed my life. I bought the next version, but was upset when the app was removed from the App Store because I couldn’t recommend it to friends and students anymore… however, I just found this app, a new Tae Kim app! And I couldn’t be happier. Now when students ask me for recommendations of apps to use, I can recommend the greatest Japanese resource that exists for English speakers. This guide is a MUST HAVE for beginners. Throw everything else away!!!

Great app so far but the sound doesn’t work which is very unfortunate.

Easy to read with good explanations. A digital textbook with built-in quizzes. Gets straight to the point.

I love the flashcards and quizzing features. I love taking tests and this app is perfect

Love the info and simple layout of the app, but I noticed that the lesson content goes blank when the app is suspended for a bit of time and you have to scroll back to where you were.

This is a fantastic app to learn Japanese grammar systematically. It boosts my Japanese learning significantly in a short time due to better understanding of the grammar. Great job!
