It has really good example sentences using each word in different tenses.
This app is conceptually simple, but it executes everything perfectly. My only improvement/suggestion is I’d love to see more words with example sentences or maybe a way to quickly view a conjugation chart for verbs.
It took me several attempts to figure out how to use the app but once I did, I really like it! I love that I can slow the robot voice down, create my own word lists, choose which categories I want to review. It’s powerful in its implicitly!
This app is very helpful. I start my freshman year in college in the fall and I’m minoring in Spanish, and with this app I can choose specific words they I may have to use in my major/field.
overall it’s a good flash card app. i wish the words were more hand selected by native speakers. the word lists just use google translate and some of them aren’t very accurate
5 word a day limit for adding new words, but the ones you already know stack up and you can review them!
This application is a fun & entertaining Godsend if you are devoted to learning Spanish.
I really like this flash card app. It reminds me a little bit of Anki, but without the need to search for relevant decks of cards, or make your own. Love that each word is pronounced for you! One improvement I’d like to see is example sentences for each word, instead of just top 1000 (?). There should be a way to have AI generate sentences, or pull them from a dictionary, or something. Take notes, developers!🙃 Other than that, I’d say it’s a perfect app. I love that there’s an option to mark that you already know the word, and then it doesn’t count towards your memorization goal for the day. I’ve only been using this app for about a week , but so far it has not disappointed! The price is fantastic; I paid $8 for a year subscription! Language learning can be expensive, so I’m always hesitant to buy new apps, and a lot of good ones tend to be 8-10/month. I believe there is also a free version with a limited number of words you can memorize per day.
First off, I didn’t like that it wanted me to buy it before even trying the app. I signed up for the free trial and immediately canceled so I wouldn’t get charged. Kind of a pain. Never even seen what this app can do or what it looks like… why would I want to buy it already? I found the app to be extremely unintuitive. I figured out how to have it show me 5 words, but new words weren’t being added into the fold. I also didn’t like the placement of the buttons in the flash card section… it was not really conducive to quickly cycling through words. I went through the options a little bit to try to figure out how this app is supposed to work. Didn’t really figure it out… don’t really have the patience or time for that. I guess I’ll try a different app or just keep making my own flash cards.
So many countries that speak Spanish and you guys chose the outliers pronunciation. Great bank of words by why use Spains pronunciation.
