Not the best app, the vocabulary section only has the option to play the sound, there is no English or Urdu translation so there is no way to understand what is being said.

Learn Urdu is an iOS educational App which is designed to help users in learning Urdu language in textual and Audio form. It has all the content suffice for the learning of Urdu language online with offline Urdu dictionary, grammar, Urdu phrases and Urdu conversation. All the features are added with their audios to better help the learners/beginners with pronunciation.
Unique Features include following sections:
Urdu Alphabets: Alphabets are the vital and backbone unit of any language. All the alphabets are included in this section to help in leaning of Urdu words with including examples and mp3 voice over.
Urdu Numbers: Learn Urdu numbers with English translation, transliteration, and Audio voices.
Urdu Vocabulary: Vocabulary acts as a store to learn words particular to any language which helps in assisting user to learn Urdu words of daily use from Days to colors, fruit names to health related words and weather to body parts with clear audios.
Dictionary: Urdu offline dictionary added with custom Urdu keyboard for easy typing.
Urdu Phrases: Urdu phrases are added to help in learning short sentences of daily conversation.
Urdu Grammar: Any language is impossible to learn without grammar hence all the significant grammar parts are included in this section.
Urdu Conversation: No one can master a language without conversing in it. Conversation tab covers all the significant conversation that a user can encounter while greeting, meeting or going out with easy transliteration.

i dont get it?
its an alright app if youre trying to learn the basics but i dont understand the point of the option to hear words if i can only hear them in english and not urdu? like immtrying to learn urdu i want to know how to pronounce the words.. and what i also dont understand is the ‘word of the day’ and ‘guess the word’ why not give normal words for us to guess, words like teetotalism and nihilist, some people dont even know those words in english let alone to have to guess them in urdu !

What???
As a Pakistani trying to reconnect with the complexities of my language some of the simple translations are just WRONG and confusing... Very silly and unhelpful 🙄
Not good
This is a weird app to review because they've got a great audio clip library (which you might think is the hard bit!), but then the app itself is incredibly basic and not really fit for purpose. I have no idea how you're supposed to use this to learn anything.
Ads too intrusive
After the update there are now adverts after every single page. I'm being asked for 99p to remove them. I'd rather this was an upfront cost so deleting app
Needs a lot more improvements
The App is okay but here are a list of problems that I discovered 1. Soon as you download it it's asking you upgraded ! I haven't even opened a chapter .... 😡 2. You select of the phrases and then is plays and goes back to the top of the list and you have lost your place. It's okay as a free app but need too be improved a lot !
Still getting ads
Paid to remove ads and they are still there.
Basic at best
This app nearly teaches very basic words- it does not teach you how to converse in Urdu.... you are not going to learn Urdu with this app It could be MUCH better!!!
More Vocabulary
I feel this app needs more vocabulary. For example, in the emotions part, it doesn’t show how to say happy and phrases are so limited. You can learn something from this app but not enough to actually say you know the language
