Alright, so I love the format of this app and I really, really want to use it, but on the first test I have some questions… several of your answers I don’t understand. You have дети as masculine which seems impossible because it’s plural. There are 2 other questions out of the 10 I don’t get. Am I missing something? Am I not right about this? Just answer me back and clarify. Thanks!

Most language apps do a very poor job of explaining the Russian cases. However, this app gives written explanations with examples of each of the cases and then quizzes you. The quizzes are short (10 or so questions) and broken down by sections on the masculine, feminine, neuter, and plural forms. Each section can be done multiple times with different questions each time. For $2.99 this is an absolute hidden gem!

This app covers both nouns and adjectives, singular and plural. That is is so unusual among Russian language learning apps, and has proven invaluable in my study of Russian. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work perfectly on my iPhone 13 Mini—sometimes the bottommost answer is cut off, making it impossible to select. Despite that, it’s still terrific, and I can push past my occasional annoyance.

I have been studying Russian for a year and a half and this is the best tool I have found to help me understand the Russian Case System! If you are studying Russian it is a must-use!

I was surprised how well made this app is. It's definitely worth the couple of bucks to downlod it. Super easy to use and it makes perfect sense. Seems like it would be a good app to go with something like Duolingo. Cases in Russian can be frustrating, and most language apps don't press the importance of cases; they just show them to you and hopefully you pick up on it. This app has an intelligent design around cases. Pretty cool!
