I will loose connection to my tree once I upgrade my phone as I don’t have the QR code that came with said tree

We need twinkle multi setting. 3 stars for no twinkle multi lights.

The power button on the app does not change when clicked so you don’t know if the tree is on or off unless you’re in the same room. Same for all buttons but the power is most annoying. Also is very bright, needs a large room or it feels like too much light, but it’s a beautiful tree!

App works exactly as the physical remote does - I was really hoping the app would give you more ability to adjust brightness, speed of twinkle, etc.

Tree seemed to work fine last year - put it together this year and it’s blinking and wonky. Managed to get it to stop blinking by pressing the pedal and plugging it into an outlet at the same time - but now it’s stuck in color only mode. I guess that’s better than most folks who are stuck on demo flashing mode. Remote has a green emitter light and I volt tested the batteries. It has to be the trees receiver that’s bunk.

Love the look of the tree but wish the transition of lights was cleaner. The flashing is way too harsh and not smooth so I’d rather just always have them on the on mode. I really wish there was a glistening mode or something that doesn’t look bad when in a dark room.

Really like the tree and app is easy to use so I’ll give it 3 stars. My version doesn’t have all the screens shown in the Apple Store. I would give this app 4 stars if it added a dimmer for the steady light function and 5 stars if it also added timer.

The app was simple to setup and pairing with the tree was a breeze (be sure to keep the supplied card which contains a QR code to pair the tree to your phone; consider taking a photo of it as a backup) The app does not extend functionality, just acts as a virtual remote so you can control the tree from farther away. I rated the app 4 stars, because I think there are some missed opportunities here: 1) It would be nice to be able to backup the tree pairing/configuration to iCloud — I don’t intend to keep the app sitting on my phone outside of the holidays. If I were to lose the QR code, I would no longer be able to use the app. 2) Allow users the ability to share the paired tree/configuration with others. If my partner or another family member wants to control the tree from their phone, they have to grab the QR code to pair the tree. Would be nice, if I could send an invite to another user, so they could easily install and pair with the tree. Or at a minimum allow me to generate the QR code from the app, so they could easily scan it to pair. 3) Ability to schedule the timer with more precision (example: on at dusk, off after 5 hours, on at dawn, off after 4 hours). 4) Allow users the option to set the default on-state, so that if the tree loses power, it doesn’t default to the “demo”/light show mode. This would allow users the option to then connect the tree to a Wi-Fi controlled outlet to control when the tree comes on without it continuously starting up in “demo” mode.

Fortunately we haven’t had issues with our tree lights. I’m writing this review to note that with sooo many lights on the tree, it’s way too bright. Please make these dimmable!

Please make a dimmable option for the T28 Grand Duchess Christmas tree!!! The lights are just too bright! Would be 5 stars if lights could be dimmed.
