Legacy 3 - The Hidden Relic

Legacy 3 is fun but simultaneously but with many rooms all together makes the puzzles unjustified.. One need to take help of youtube walkthrough for mannier times for some solutions..

Part 3 is way better than the other 2 in terms of graphics, gameplay and storytelling, but some puzzles make no sense or need far too many steps to solve, and they cannot be figured out intuitively. You need to visit their walkthrough to try and figure it out. Try, because despite walkthrough, some clues make little sense. This can leave you feeling frustrated. There is a fine line between challenging your audience while keeping them engaged, and making them want to give up.

The whole series has been wonderful. Hope you continue making more games. The puzzles were just the right amount of complexity.

I really liked the puzzles in this game. However I feel there are too many rooms and too many puzzles revealed all at once, so figuring them out in order is a bit difficult. Sometimes the clues don’t work. That said, with the help of online walkthroughs, I managed to finish this game. Frustrating, but still fun.

I love a game that joins a good story with great graphics and challenging puzzles. Please make more, I’m hooked!

David I hate you….not! I could not stop playing this game, more intense than the first two! Wasted a lot of free time that I should have spent working on the boat ;) Well worth the low cost. Can’t wait for another please! RF

Very enjoyable while also being very challenging. David did a great job with all of it. Some of it was so hard that I wished for better clues. The clue of me being in the right room didn’t help a lot when I already knew that and still was at a loss for where to turn next. Maybe put a clock on the clues with the next update David and after certain amounts of game play time have elapsed give a stronger hint toward the next step. I don’t like going to the tube in order to get the answer given to me but would rather have increasing hint power to help me figure out what I’m doing wrong. But again, very good and definitely would charge for this. Missing out. I would have paid for them after the first. Give folks the first for free but then make a little money. Great job David!

What a fun and interesting series of puzzle games. Difficult enough to be engaging yet enjoyable. I hope you make many more!

Lots to solve in this game and like others you need to keep looking around and remember what you’ve seen. Take snapshots of things! I had a white board next to me to take notes along the way of what I wanted to do next. The clue system which tells you if you’ve got what you need to do the next step is helpful. There are definitely times when I’ve had an object and no idea how to use it, and resorted to walkthroughs to figure it out, with no guilt for not guessing the solution. Or times when I’ve just not figured out the UI for how to use something and needed to see it. But super fun and worth every penny spent!

This series of games has been fun and challenging, and each one gets better. Keep up the good work!
