Legacy Standard Bible

This is truly a special translation and I am enjoying it immensely. May God our Father bless the hands of all those that were involved.

This is one of the few translations that you can use with utmost confidence not having to check if the verse is correctly translated. The sentence structure makes it easy to read specially for an english speaking person. I also found that with difficult verses to understand in the trust worthy NASB translation that after reading the same verse in the LSB it becomes more clear. The LSB is an excellent translation for your daily reading and should form part of your study material as well.

I wish it showed the book title when you change books and when you do a search. But, lots of good things!

One of the best Bible translations

Find it more difficult to use than other Bible apps. When I look up a verse, it doesn’t give that as a highlighted verse with surrounding text and there is no way to swipe to even go to next verse. I’ve tried a couple of ways on this app and one way it even sends to a completely different text. Looking forward to using this app when glitches are worked out!

EXCELLENT VERSION OF THE BIBLE.

The NASB had always been my favorite translation for its superior accuracy. I am really enjoying this update and especially its treatment of the Name of God. My new favorite translation.

There is still text not visible in the app. If I make the font very tiny it shows more text, but it still cuts off some text. It’s the same in landscape and portrait. An example is Ezra chapter 7 starting in verse 12. I have iOS 17.1.2 Help

The LSB is my every day text. I have it on my phone, iPad, and desktop. In my iPad I use it in conjunction with my Goodnotes for study, and Sunday services. Personally, I believe it is closest to the original texts, coming to this decision from extensive research… but I am not a scholar by any means. It’s an easy read and I highly recommend the Legacy for anyone who is able to read God’s Word.
