Letterloop: Group Newsletters

it is so great and helps us keep in touch! we recently upgraded to lifetime memberships & customer service was so helpful!

Both sides of my extended family now do Letterloops and it is such an easy, low-effort way to stay in meaningful contact. Social media is so cluttered with ads and nonsense and sometimes you don’t want to share your actual update with the wider world. The features it has now are excellent. We’ve got a whole bunch of 60+ tech-limited members and they can all figure it out just fine. Thank you, Letterloop, for helping facilitate continuing contact between family and friends who would otherwise lose touch!

As someone who feels like my phone takes over my life with endless social media scrolling, I needed a better less addictive way to stay connected to friends. Letterloop has been a total godsend! It feels like it is creating moments of genuine connection with friends who are far away in a very manageable amount of screen time. I love it so much!

When i press the comment, it makes me exit the comments page for that post and then exit a separate page after that to get back to the response. Too much clicking. Also u should make it possible to react (like/dislike) responses and view comments underneath the response itself.

I love love love this app! It’s been a wonderful way to stay connected with my bffs and I just started a new one with my siblings. I hope this app never goes anywhere.

after the first few newsletters, you have to subscribe to continue. it is 5$ per month or 50$ per year. i subscribed around 4 days ago and could not activate my newsletter. when clicking on my newsletter to activate, it brings me to the subscribe page. when clicking on the settings for the newsletter, it brings me to subscribe page. i confirmed that 50$ was charged on my card. i sent them an email 3 days ago and still no reply (that was on tuesday, so i feel that 3 business days should be enough to get a reply). do not get this app.

I heard about letter loop on TikTok and now it my friends’ and my favorite part of the month! Highly recommend to stay in touch especially over long distances!

This is the only social app that helps you keep in touch with your friends is a thoughtful and easy way! No-brainer to use it with all your friends groups from school and work and even extended family. Nothing better out there 💛

love the idea of letterloop it’s such a fun way to stay connected with friends. the one thing that annoys me is the way comments appear - i wish you didn’t have to click into each response to see the comment. and the way they open up in chronological order isn’t intuitive, it would be better for them to be grouped by the question they are in response to. i think all the comments should be visible at a glance when you open the issue, they should be grouped under the question that they were in reply to. if that will look to busy it can automatically collapse extra comments and make it clickable to expand and see the comments. also sometimes pictures you try to attach to an issue take forever to load. if these things can be fixed it’ll be 5 stars!!
