Thought this update would have sorted chromecast on SK9Y soundbar… but again massive fail from LG ….still not working.

Works for me
I know there are some negative reviews, but I use this app with my LG USC9S and rear speakers SPQ8S. The App does what it says on the tin. I am very pleased
Unhappy
All but impossible to connect the sound bar to the WiFi no matter what you do. The router is about 2 meters from the sound bar. Changed the WiFi settings and still no connection. Very very disappointing, especially as LG are a world known company for their technology. My LG tv is always connected. Sort it out LG!!
LG GX sound-bar not supported WHY NOT !!!!!!!!!
Brand new LGG3 OLED with LG Gx soundbar and this app doesn’t support it, that’s ridiculous at a cost of nearly £3.5k it should do. Whilst it looks great on the wall it’s just a large Bluetooth speaker now. First time with LG and unless you sort this app out it will be my last, should have stayed with Sony Tried latest update and still won’t connect to the GX soundbar Update, used my phone instead of IPad to try and connect, the soundbar connected via Bluetooth fir it then to flag up “Can’t connect to LG GX(D6) This device is not supported this app” So LG are you going to give us an app that does support the LG DX soundbar ?

It worked. It doesn’t. Waste of time.
Can’t connect to the Soundbar
As all the reviews tell you, you can’t connect to the soundbar with the app. It connects to my phone but not hope getting it to connect to the app. What’s really poor imo is the fact it’s a known problem and LG just dont care.
GX soundbar not supported
Disappointed that a company the size of LG can’t update their apps to support current products ! App needs update to support the GX soundbar

Just Doesn’t Work
How can a company as big as LG put out such a poor app. Premium priced products need premium customer service. Come on LG sort this out.
You simply cannot connect
As all the others have said on here. The G1 sound bar will not connect! I tried to call LG but they could not help and told me there was nothing they could do. I will be returning the sound bar. I will never buy LG again.
