well, this app is great actually. and it is for free.
A fantastic addition to the studio. Very expressive playability and a modulation dream. Only request would be to add midi in/out and or audiobus compatability… Thank you for this wonderful synth.
Works with NONE of the music apps I have.
Many great features and the automation ball rocks. The rubbing part is like vibrato as you move up the piano key vertically, so ahead of the curve there. The is a hidden gem
Another important tool in my arsenal of sound creation.
Nothing but a little awesomness here. Very playable synth with great sounds.
This is another one of my favorite synths that can cut thru or wobble or create wandering evolving textures. It has an awesome interface with a killer rubbing effect(a kind of automation). This one deserves your time and is stable.peace christo
This is actually quite a lovely synth. I've managed to program a number of useful patches/some surprisingly unique sounds. Definitely deserves more of my attention. The responsiveness of knobs/buttons could use improvement. Some are overly sensitive, while others take several touches/long-presses in order to make the necessary changes. A value display while tweaking would be very beneficial, too.
I get it... Long ago I owned a CAT by Octave and using this took me right back to those days in the damp basements working with a machine that had limits, but in many ways was more expressive than much of what is offered in the digital world today. This is a CLASSIC synth interface and can teach novices a few things about synthesis because it is exposed and simple. It also sounds pretty cool! Yes, it needs some work, (navigating patches is brutal) but my hope is that the developer is just getting started. Also, about the name... Try rubbing the keys... Heh. I am not sure if this is a method for controlling modulation I will embrace... But 50 points for originality! (I wondered why the thing that looked like it was in the place the mod wheel should be didn't do anything, heh). Pick it up and play with it... It's cheap, fun, and nostalgic.
The half screen of help shows buttons that I cannot find in the app. The file section you can't just touch the one you want to load to select it You have to use the 'Previous' & 'Next' buttons. How PC'ish! There isn't a key hold button. All synths should have that in my mind as it adds flexibility for playing live. Hopefully there will be future updates for this app.
