Able to record most any weight exercise I come up with.
This has been an excellent and helpful item to my workouts. It has assisted me in keeping track of my progress, rest and multiple programs. I have passed and downloaded this same software for other friends on their phones.
So much better than all the other apps. Tried about 20. This the only one with a clean interface, ease for data entry, easily customized to my workout and an export feature all without a monthly fee. Just missing charting and some occasional crashes.
Simple and effective. No pay wall.
After much searching, testing, and using different workout log apps, LiftRep is the one I've selected to keep track of my gym progress going forward. It's straightforward but flexible enough to adapt to personalized needs, and has the exact functionality you want – workouts, supersets, body measurements, etc. The developer is also very helpful and receptive to feedback.
Exactly that I want in a workout logging app. I do have some suggestions for improvements in future updates: 1) Add a third option for starting a log: "use previous log" I know I could just create a routine and save it, but I don't often use the same exact workout and would like to search through my previous free form logs and use them. 2) I switch up exercises in my supersets often. The app only shows previous logged superset data if the same exact superset is used. I would like the data to save by exercise, not by superset. That way when I switch up exercises in my superset I can see previous performance by exercise. 3) Add an option to search by muscle group when adding an exercise to a log. Thank you!
I really enjoy this app. It's simple like I wanted and is fast and easy to record my progress. It's also very easy to add an exercise or exercise equipment not listed. However, I do wish I could customize the order of my routines list and I wish I could delete/customize things in the exercises list and exercise equipment list.
Please everyone who likes this app please promote it. I had used the Strong app for a very long time but the destroyed it with their latest update. I began searching for something simple and spent quite a bit of money on wasted apps until I found this one. Thank God because I was about to have to go back to paper and pencil again. Yeah it has a couple bugs and takes a bit to fully figure it out but once you do it can't be beat for someone who actually knows how to workout. All the others are targeted towards people who don't have a clue to what they should be doing in the gym. This is a professional app. My only two requests is to be able to delete exercises in the exercise list because there is a lot and to restructure the order my workout routines are in because sometimes I forget what day it is lol. I'm here to stay, thank you for this app and please don't ever change the layout.
does exactly what it says
