Light Alarm — Wake-Up Light

The app works fine for a few weeks, but after about a month the sound aspect of the alarm no longer functions. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall twice at this point as the only way to fix the issue which is frustrating.

This app is laughable bad. It doesn't even work unless the app is held open. It doesn't go off if your phone is locked. Useless as an alarm.

I echo the previous comments. Great design. Minimal steps needed to set. Goes totally dark upon setting, which is a huge plus. But.... Add two things: 1. Menu of sounds, and 2. Light control for fades and brightness. I also would gladly pay for these features.

Works only sporadically- exactly the WRONG quality for an alarm clock.

I loved this app up to last update. It works well to add sound and light to my room and ease me out of sleep without the jar of an alarm. Since last update it will close while I sleep and cancel the alarm. I do wish that it did not have to be open to run, but it does do a great job of waking me up when it does not cancel the alarm. Just a glitch with the update it seems.

This is the best sunrise alarm app I have used. It is FREE and not a standalone alarm so of course there can be improvements, but I personally love its simplicity and the fact that IT JUST WORKS unlike some other apps. I now have a sunrise alarm anywhere, even when traveling :)

No function

This is a great app, but as others have noted, a few settings would make this perfect. For example, being able to set the time before the wake up time that the light starts to gradually fade in. And, the ability to adjust the volume of the birds from 0 to the lodest setting. Or, being able to set what color the fade in light starts at (such as a reddish or orange) and what color it is when it is fully on (such as white or yellow). Also, the screen needs to turn off completely during “sleep” so it is not using the LCD at all—turning off completely will reduce energy use and increase life of LCD display and prevent the dim glow from keeping light sleepers from getting to sleep or staying asleep. Good app tho. I would pay for the additional features.

When I set the alarm, I double check to be sure the volume is all the way up… somehow the alarm turns itself down to less than 30% and I can barely hear it. Please look into this glitch, thanks
