Light Meter LM-3000

I never write reviews I’m usually just a guy who downloads something and if I like it great! And if I don’t like it that’s just too bad. But this is the ONLY light meter app that told me I need a diffuser! I was always so confused on why my grow lights were only measured at 100 foot candles. 10/10 app I love it

Not worth the time to download. It throws up pop up ads on top of the user interface every 5 seconds making it impossible to use or see tne readings. It makes it as difficult as it can to close the pop ups until you click through everything and then once you do you have only a few seconds to use it before the pop up begins again unless you purchase a diffuser from the developer.

Just say it’s a paid app, and I might actually pay for it. To list is a free app then force me to pay to use the app AFTER I’ve downloaded is deceptive and I will go out of my way to let my photographer friends know not to use this app.

This works perfectly and I am super happy that it has both reading instructions AND a video this app is amazing and is literally perfect for science research for light and bioluminescence it is also easy to use 10/10 love the app

It’s wildly inaccurate unless you have a diffuser. But at that point you may as well buy a dedicated light meter. I have one but thought it would be more convenient to have an app on my phone that I carry around everywhere.

Maybe I’m the outlier for the usage here but I need it to use the regular iPhone camera the front camera is totally useless for my needs.

This is day 1 using the Light Meter LM-3000 app. Worked 6 hours on grow shelving and light set up. The app worked great. I have 3 different LED shop lights installed and the light meter was consistent based on specifications of the light and the placement. So far so good. Thanks.

It was pretty cool. I work in a calibration lab and deal with real ones. But then, I decide to use it and I can’t without buying some kind of battery app. I realize everyone needs to earn a living from their labors however, let me know in a very obvious manner, that this is a free trial which will eventually end. I saw nothing to indicate that. I feel “tricked”. They need to fix that and they’ll have better ratings.

Frustrating

Caught traveling without a meter and been exploring iPhone meters. This one’s not much use to me bc it has no spot metering. But for a cheap to free app, it’s not bad. Not sure how accurate it is, but it’s probably close enough to get you in the ballpark if you’re shooting old film cameras and not interested in distant shots.
