The LightwaveRF Smart Home Platform allows you to monitor and control lighting, power and heating whether you are in the home, or out and about, using a smart-phone, tablet or PC. The product range consists of attractive and affordable dimmer switches, power sockets and thermostatic radiator valves, plus a large range of other innovative products, some of which are simple plug ‘n’ play and others that can be easily retrofitted by any competent DIYer. All devices communicate wirelessly eliminating the need for any additional wiring.

• Set Moods by room for lighting and power – for example, fully on for cleaning, some lights dimmed and the TV off for reading, and nice and cosy dimmed lights when watching TV
• Build complex events to turn on or off multiple devices across many rooms with one button
• Schedule single devices or events to activate at certain times by day, week and month
• Automatically link schedules to sunrise and sunset times
• Add random delays to events to create that genuine “look like you’re at home when you’re not at home”
• Schedule heating programmes by individual room
• Add our energy monitor to see your electricity usage real-time, and totals so far today and yesterday
And you can do all of these things even if you were on the other side of the world!

Abysmal

Still can’t switch some on 30 mins before dusk

The system works very well but the previous version allowed you to switch on various items lights on 15..20…30 minutes before dusk but since you updated the version of software you can now only switch items on after dusk this is not great because you need to be able to switch on before a set time so that you can have various things come on like garden lights so I’m very disappointed that you have done another update and not put this feature back in that you took out on the previous version

Useless

Don’t waste time and money with this company. After a year the double mains outlet refused to turn off, then the light switch blew up. Now the app takes over a minute to load. Thus whole system is a complete rip off…

Utter rubbish

I am à automation software engineer and have never seen any as bad as this piece of software, you can not even log in, and you want to trust this to control your home where you should feel comfortable and safe, I would not get à minuets rest worrying about what maybe going on.

Does the job

It's OK but no updates in a long time, some display issues exist guessing due to newer iphones being released but app not being updated for them.

Bad

My university project looks less from 2010 and more well engineered. Looks like someone made it in a week time just to release something

Love it

I’ve had LightwaveRF kit at home for quite a few years, all works flawlessly either with Alexa or through the app. Sure the app hasn’t got the best looking UI but it does what it’s supposed to, great bit of kit.

It’s broken

Ok so the app knows I have 10 items in my schedule but it only shows 8 when I try to edit it. When you try to go to the support webpage it’s not intuitive and if you get it to work or help it’s a miracle.

Rotation

Fix the rotation issue please.

Can Not Login On Latest Version!

Since updating to latest version can no longer log in at all. It says I do not have any internet connectivity when every other app works ok!! It makes this app worse than useless as I can not change existing kit which I have quite a lot of! Zero stars would be my ideal review as I can not do anything on this app!
