Limna: Art Gallery Prices

It would be fantastic to have an estimate price for ancient paintings and engravings.

It is an interesting concept. But because it tried to cover all the World it is full of incorrect (because insufficient) information about many renouned artists that the creators don’t know and haven’t researched. This is true for the 3rd thousand ranked artists. But it is also true for established artists from countries like Portugal where the information about exhibitions has not been researched yet. Amadeo de Souza Cardoso is a glearing example

For those who like art it’s a great app. Fantastic, simple and easy to use.

A nice sight with quick references to artists. Some data is out of date or not as current as it should be and some important data on artists is missed or over shadowed by less important listings for the artist.

Not complete enough for me. I have several pieces by a prolific artist. He has an online gallery, auction history even has a book but he’s not in the data base. I would love an app that could identify signatures. I have a few pieces with illegible signatures.

This app really needs to add relevant artists. Nick Thomm is hanging in most celebrities and contemporary art investors homes but isn’t anywhere to be found here… I suspect the 800k claimed artists is not from prestigious galleries and auction houses. They just don’t have data on artists their target audience will care about.

Operation Liberty

Completely outdated unreliable information about artists especially emerging and mid career. Many artists look like they are nobody here and sell for nothing whereas in the REAL world they sell out and for 4+ times the amount they state in this UNRELIABLE app! Shows records, artfair presence…all false or very outdated info! Collectors should stay away from this app and just google the artists they are interested in!

Easy and fast to use. Gives you confidence to buy .

There is so much wrong with this I don’t know where to start. I’m an artist and they don’t even get the medium correct by my work or my contemporaries. Show information is wildly out of date and seems to only indicate shows from galleries that are paying to be part of this platform. Given the degree of accuracy I don’t understand how any of the price information they could provide would be of any value whatsoever.
