I love this app to Draw on and it’s so fun 🙂
Joke
I just upgraded to a new 13 inch iPad Air and Apple Pencil Pro and Linea Sketch now works intermittently or not at all. I can barely draw a line using the pencil. Previously, the app worked great and I love it. I am a lifetime purchaser. Is this a known problem and is there a fix?
I WAS USING THIS APP AND ALL MY DRAWINGS JUST DISAPPEARED WHAT THE HECK JUST HAPPENED FIX THIS I SPENT SO LONG ON SOME DRAWING I CAN NOT BELIEVE THIS I WILL NOW BARLEY USE THIS APP UNTIL THIS IS FIXED I AM SO MAD
UPDATE: Version 2.0 added every feature I said I’d like to have added to the app. And they did it without mucking up the clean UI and wonderful user experience. The people making this app are reading my mind. — Not only is this the best general-purpose drawing/sketching/writing app for people with iPad Pros, this app is an example of great UX design. Everything works like I’d want it to and expect it to. For example: - Drawing with the pencil and erasing with your finger is great. - Tapping with two fingers to undo is great. - The way zooming and rotating works with two fingers is completely natural. - Being able to reset the zoom/rotation with a quick pinch is great. - Double tapping a layer to hide it is great. - Rearranging layers by holding and dragging is great. - The color selector that gives you various light and darker variations of a hue is great. - There are just enough variations and options in the tools, but not so much that it’s overwhelming. The best compliment I can give this app is that it has not annoyed me or done something that I thought was stupid, ever. And I can, and do, find problems with pretty much everything. I’d like there to be more variations in the paper guides; more dot grids and some simple lined paper options would be nice and could be added without cluttering up the UI. Being able to define your own guides and/or import an image to use as a guide would be amazing. Portrait mode would be nice for when I’m using the app to write. A selection tool to move stuff around would be awesome. I’m pleased that little birdie named Twitter has told me at least some of these additions are coming soon. I seriously love this app.
The app completely is frozen on launch , on my new iPad M4, can’t even use it.
I love this app however there is one issue I keep having. While in the app the app will randomly go black and the refresh wheel shows then it takes me back to my Home Screen. Its quite annoying when Im in the middle of a sketch and it happens frequently.
I love linea sketch and have used it for about two years. I love it and I’d love to give 5 stars but its suddenly developed a problem and i cant find a way to get support on the site. When i open a file it sometimes opens as blank. And then the file resaves as blank. Sometimes the thumbnail disapears and sometimes it stays. I have files saved to my i-ad but this does not help. The loss seems to update from the cloud to the saved files. Im afraid to do anything. Please help
It only gives access to drawing tools, color layers and at least, grids. I have no idea if there are shape or selection tools likother drawing programs (but which lack the grid capacity. Promising but baffling as it seems to either lack other tools or hides them too well. I just trying to draw a simple floor plan but am thwarted despite the tutorial flashing that capability withou showing how to use it. Why do apps hide everything requiring users to hunt for choices that used to be in front of us. Oh well.
