I tried out busuu, memrise, duo, but lingo deer has my backing when it comes to japanese, either go with lingdeer, busuu or memrise and aswell as listen to japanese podcast or go with something like pimsleur, but lingo deer is amazing, id highly recommend it

i’ve only been learning on this app for two lessons and I can already tell you. “ 我是 “ means “i am” “ 你是 “ means “you are” i have already learned the four starting countries it teaches, and it really helps me with pronunciation as it rates each word and I can practice until I get it !! I am so pleased already and excited for more^_^
i used this app a while ago when it was free and i recently decided to start learning korean again, but now its blocked behind a paywall at the second lesson of the basic module. it would be fine if i could just skip the paid lessons but i dont have the money to spend 13 quid a month on this. i remember it being really good and im pretty disappointed that i cant carry on with this app anymore :(
I’ve been using it for about a week , and it have been very effective and I like how it doesn’t rush you and gives you time and space to get things wrong and start over ,ect . (Take notes Duolingo) but I will say that right now I can say for the Korean language, it only really helps out on working with reading and writing. Which is great as the Korean alphabet is really easy and this app can really help with it but if you want to work on your language ( for eg: knowing what the actual words mean) then I’d recommend using a different app or different language . 💕
First off, LingoDeer is utterly adorable. I feel strong empathy for the deer, and I want to 100% my lessons because I feel like the deer is happy for me when I do. The art style is nice, and the voice is gentle and pleasant. I discovered this app while searching for language learning options that offer a lifetime subscription. Unlike that increasingly grotesque owl app, LingoDeer focuses on grammar and has a wholly non-competitive play style. It was an instant buy for me! I have been using this app for over a month, and I am really enjoying my lessons. In fact, I now find myself trying to go slower so that I can get better scores and save some new-to-me content for later. The one thing I hope is that LingoDeer continues to be actively developed. I am halfway through the Spanish course, and while I look forward to using this app for my other target languages, I would also love it if there would be some more Spanish levels added someday. Thank you, LingoDeer!
Really glad to be out from under the Duolingo thumb, and Lingodeer seems like a great alternative.
I am into Kpop and would like to move to Korea in the future.i have only just started the app but it’s absolutely amazing! I recommend using this app with all my heart!

Great app, been on Duolingo for about a year learning Japanese and although it has helped with the basics and will continue to help me, this is by far and away superior. Everything flows better and is more intuitive. I have no doubt my Japanese journey will improve and be more enjoyable with this app. Thank you devs.
