LiRA

The LiRA (Linear Restoration Application) program has been designed to help monitor restoration activities on historical seismic lines. An estimated 150,000 km of legacy seismic lines across Alberta will require some type of intervention to be placed on a trajectory to full recovery. Whereas a number of activities are currently underway in order to restore these lines. These include line deactivation treatments, site preparation and planting. In order to keep track of these restoration efforts, proper documentation including quality control of the treatments that has been applied on the ground needs to be implemented. LiRA is designed by Woodlands North Inc. to address this requirement.
