Live Home 3D Pro: House Design

Très bonne application (même je ne suis pas un professionnel du domaine du bâtiment). Stable, précise et complète. Même si le prix peut faire peur au début, elle en vaut la peine (certaines autres applications ne me permettaient pas d’atteindre des résultats - plans qui bougent tout seuls, impressions pourries, ... cfr le reste de mon commentaire). Elle m’offre grande satisfaction aussi bien sur iOS (iPad et consultation avec petites éditions sur iPhone) que sur Mac OS. A cause de la différence de prix et l’aspect visuel de l’interface utilisateur, j’avais démarré mon projet avec Home Design 3D (Gold) (maison de 1.000 m2 sur 2 étages). Je suis assez rapidement passé à Live Home 3D Pro quand Home Design 3D (Gold) à commencé à pédaler dans la choucroute à cause de la légère complexité de certaines zones de la maison. Aussi parce qu’il arrivait que je ne parvienne pas à être suffisamment précis et qu’en plus, j’ai découvert qu’il n’était pas capable de dessiner les toitures. De plus, lorsque j’ai commencé à avoir plusieurs pièces, il arrivait que Home Design 3D (Gold) manque de stabilité / fiabilité en changeant des parties de plans de son propre chef. Et pour finir l’autre grande déception avec Home Design 3D : impossible d’avoir une impression de plan qui ressemble à quelque chose (PDF illisible et dégueulasse). Même si pour des très petits projets, Home Design 3D semble plus simple et agréable à prendre en main, j’ai été soulagé de retrouver avec Live Home 3D une application qui me permettait d’être plus précis et fiable que Home Design 3D (Gold), surtout pour la partie 2D. Et l’impression (papier et PDF) est fidèle aux plans ! Pour continuer la comparaison avec Home Design 3D (Gold), je préfère Live Home 3D pour sa précision du dessin des plans en 2D et sa façon d’indiquer les côtés que ne trouve plus pro que celle de Home Design 3D. Je la préfère aussi pour la possibilité de dessiner les toitures. Par contre, je trouve que Home Design 3D est plus agréable en ce qui concerne les rendus de décoration d’intérieur et de jardins (rendus plus beau je trouve)... J’utilise donc plutôt Home Design 3D pour avoir le rendu 3D de la déco d’une pièce en particulier, mais Live Home 3D pour tout le projet en lui-même.

***UPDATE II***You heard it here first ppl! End of May 2024. This is a problem that started on April 4th 2024. I was told at that time it would be “a couple of weeks”. After going back and forth since then, I have been given excuse after excuse. This is beyond nuts! It has been 8 weeks that this app has been unusable. This is the only app that I have paid for and I am quickly regretting it. I am getting very close to contacting the FTC as this whole situation is becoming very questionable and deceiving. ***UPDATE*** As you can read in the developers response, the issue will be fixed in a week. I guess I should’ve asked which week as it’s been two weeks, 6 weeks in total that this app has been unusable. So many promises and no fix, such a shame. I have had this app for a few years and I never had any issues. I really loved using this app for many many projects. Recently there was an issue with changing the measurements and elevation of objects. When working properly all I had to due was keep my finger on the minus option and the object would continuously move until I lifted my finger. 4 weeks ago I discovered that was not working anymore. I contacted support and was given a generic response of “we are working on an update for the issue and we don’t know when it will be fixed” which is fine. I understand that these things take time but 4 weeks? I purchased the app and several packs and they are 100% unusable. I would have hoped for a quicker fix since ppl have paid to use this app. 4 weeks and counting with no fix just seems really crazy to me and very disappointing

Is the app bugging or something the objects look grey and weird it’s been a amazing app for my projects but lately it’s been not so good, is it my phone?

I love this app so much more than the other, because there’s so many more (Advanced/Professional) features and a new mode And if It’s a great deal #great professional app!

Every time there is an update for a new version with my iPad, Whenever I go into my Library Materials folder through my iCloud, it always shows the loading symbol for a good minute and then kicks me out of the app. I always delete/uninstall the app then reinstall it and the same issue occurs. Now, the response I got back from the creators of the app before, had mentioned that it could be the materials I had saved from the 3D Warehouse could not be compatible with the new version. Now here is where I know that isn’t true and makes no sense because if that were true, then how come when I have to re-download the SAME version of the object I got through the 3dWarehouse downloads and allows me to open the tab with no problem. The Geek Squad has even mentioned it doesn’t make sense in that being the answer since I am able to re-download and no problem. So my hassle is having to no longer be able to use my saved projects ever again and feel forced in having to re-download the same stuff (each item) every time there is an update as well as re-create my creations. So therefore I will NOT be recommending this app anymore and some of my friends have already gone to other apps instead to help them in their business due to the same issues and similar reasons as to why ours react the same way with updates and it is a shame since I have spent money on all the extra packs and for this program. I have loved it for a couple years now and am just getting frustrated from the recent frustrations. I have the latest iPad Pro and have plenty of storage and GB. Not to mention I have reached out to Trimble 3d warehouse and turns out that they are not the issue. So I just feel I am getting the run around on the true meaning as to why this is an issue every time. IF there is a resolution please somebody help me. Geek squad has stated that more likely it sounded as though it was this app being more of the issue. I have tried EVERYTHING suggested though to do including contacting all who was recommended in contacting, including Apple. Thank you and this is just disappointing. :( AND Can Not Purchase Extra Materials/Packs One week ago I requested a refund on some of the extra materials packs because I accidentally purchased ones that I had not meant to that came with the last update version of this app (I do have the updated version of this app) and went through the App Store and as of 2 days ago, everything was refunded. I have been using this app for about two years on various projects. Recently, when using the app on my phone certain projects close on their own and when I try to reopen them, they do not and I get an error message. Have never seen this before.

So it’s working great but we need more furniture downloads 😀😀😀 PLEASE

Let’s say I want to build multiple restaurants with different heights ( some have only first floor only or 2 floors ) at the same project how can I do that ?

I can’t use Bluetooth keyboards anymore like used to, and I’ve tried a snugg third party keyboard, apple magic keyboard, Logitech keys-to-go-keyboard and a brydge keyboard. I used to love this, but now it’s practically useless.

Is there a way to calculate the internal sq ft of the house and walls for drywall, the iOS app needs this. Also would be cool to know if its possible to get the brick and block textures I purchased to match in visual measurement with manual calculations in a setting or something.
