LiveXP: Learn a new language

Some LiveXP staff definitely provide wonderful customer service. However, the technical errors on this platform have been, unfortunately, plentiful. Of course, this is a budding business and some issues here and there could be understandable. Yet, I do not appreciate the sexual harassment I received by some on here. The report feature was not so easily accessible and I told the relevant people about this situation; This student was still able to request me for a lesson in the aftermath. I would have appreciated a more ardent measure taken to protect teachers and students alike in the context there is ever any type of abuse inflicted. Furthermore, as a teacher for over 10 years, and having taught all levels to students across the world, LiveXP is one small place I prefer to help students learn at an inexpensive rate compared to my typical charge. I am thoroughly disappointed to be so disrespected by some on here. I have always tried to work with students and there schedules, as they have with me, staff included. Yet, when I was told one manner to handle rescheduled lessons that could not be rescheduled in the system, I was told to label the lesson as completed and go from there. However, I received a conflicting report some lengthy time afterwards. I have had an issue with my lesson success percentage being penalized as a result of the rescheduling not going through the system while confirmed between the students and I. I always prefer to help as much as possible, among other things. Please try and provide a more respectful, considerate, and adaptive environment. Even when there are some students who were rude, I continued helping them. To be fallaciously ridiculed is an asinine affront that I vehemently oppose. Be safe and have a great day.

I am an TESOL certified teacher learning Korean. This app allows me to teach English and take Korean classes. Username: Ranela Makes The messaging system is great, the scheduler syncs to my Google calendar seamlessly and instantaneously unlike other platforms that end up double booking me. It’s easy to reschedule and communicate with students. It was fairly easy to increase my income and it was motivating to see the salary meter increase. Withdrawing my funds to PayPal is also very easy and the fees are reasonable and comparative to all the other platforms on the market. I have no complaints about the app as the Support Team has been very responsive and easy to contact! I have left other platforms due to the lack of tech and teacher support. 10/10 recommended as a teacher and student.

I personally love teaching on LiveXP’s website, but so far, I’ve had to use the app on several occasions and it’s really come in handy and works great 👍🏻

Great app to showcase leadership and teaching skills, also to connect with people around the world!

I signed up as an instructor for English. I was under the impression that I could teach on the phone and/or from the app on my computer - same for students. This is not the case. Students and instructors can only take and give classes on a computer-desktop application. This is very inconvenient. Ended up switching to Skype because my student didn’t have a laptop :(

They don't pay you for the hours you worked.

It's a scam! They deducted money themselves bypassing Apple! They refuse to refund, don't use this garbage.

Преподаватели отменяют уроки, 3 дня бегаешь за ними чтобы попасть на урок. Когда устаешь от этого и просишь вернуть деньги суппорт будет вас игнорировать.

These are scammers, be careful. I only agreed to a 1 month subscription, BUT they charged 150 euros on their own (without confirmation). They did not return the money when I contacted support (although they should have for consumer protection reasons). Be careful when using your card details on this site, because they may be used without your permission! and then no one will return this money to you. I would rate it lower if it were possible.
