You are going to see lots and lots of websites recommending this app. The icon just gives you the impression. The app is made by google. All the UI and layout also mimics google in order to make you believe it’s a trusted app, it is not. I just don’t know why apple doesn’t take this app down.

I literally couldn’t get a single video from my Google Drive to play. False advertising. Bad app!

Web videos and google drive do not work. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

For all giving 1 star, you need to really understand what’s going on with your internal network. I have no issues with this app in regard to casting media to certain devices that support it. For example, i can cast to my shield with no issue, and to a Firestick with the added LocalCast app. I can also cast it to my Vizio TV. In regards to functionality — when trying to cast from your local storage you can only cast from your Photos app pretty much. It does not allow you to access the other “my files” local storage which is a bit upsetting. I am trying to find a workaround for it but may just email the dev to see if Apple blocked it. This app works. You just need to understand how to use it.

Terrible app. I fell into the trap, like others mention, where I saw comments about using this app and how great it was online. It’s terrible! Doesn’t do anything! I wanted to use it to stream video via chromecast and audio to a Bluetooth stereo. There is no options to do anything, other than use it for your pictures or videos you recorded. Apple should take this app down. It is not as advertised and they steal your money! I’ve tried contacting the app developer and no response. He must need $5.49 more than I do, so considering it a donation.

I bought this app few days ago as I want cast videos to tv and listen from my earphones. Some sites in google claimed this app will help. This is not true it only displays photos and videos from your phone and you cannot separate the audio. In addition it takes the money for pro version and you cannot access it. I emailed the developer more than one time with no response. The rating of 3.9 in app store looks like manipulated and not true. No refund offer. Save your money.

Useless app. There’s nothing this app can do that you don’t get with a native chromecast app. It was advertised that the app can play the audio locally on the device and it doesn’t not. A wast of $5
