Very easy to install, the minor negative is only one person can log in and see at a time

Always seems to fail -“something has gone wrong” So the Lorex doorbell camera is useless

I have 4k Lorex up cameras. I’ve seemed help but they reached out to me one or twice to try to fix the issue but they haven’t. They’re supposed to give me call back. It’s been three months and I haven’t heard nothing back from them. Sadly I spent thousands for the cameras and the poor customer services and experience is not worth any penny. Cameras are crucial to your business or homes and if you can’t even play it back with the best quality, why even keep them. I used to recommend Lorex. Not anymore after this incident.

We installed the cameras ourselves without a hitch. The camera quality is very good. We definitely feel more secure when we leave town for a little while and are able to monitor our home. Thanks for a great product!

I like this system for the most part but my biggest complaint is the inability to view my cameras unless I’m on my home network. If for any reason I’m off the wifi, nothing will load. The website has instructions for using port forwarding to resolve this, but I’ll need a computer science degree before I’m able to figure that out.

App suddenly stopped working after the new iOS update . None of the cameras appear on the app

Since the last IOS update, I still receive camera alerts on my iPhone, but I cannot pull up any of my cameras, live or recordings. My box works perfectly fine, but the iPhone app doesn’t. I called support, and I was left on hold for an hour and then disconnected. There is no chat or email for technical support. I’ve done the basic troubleshooting on my own, nothing seems to work.

The app is complete trash. If ever I needed to check the cameras in an actual emergency there is a 95% chance that the cameras will never load. I have reached out to the company more times than I can count to fix this issue over a 5 year time span and no one has ever gotten back to me. Spend your money elsewhere.
