Since IOS 16 update on my older iPhone 8, this app is not working. App won’t start, then a note ‘No Content Found’? ‘Please put some content on your device etc’ of which the official Apple Music app still has all the uploads of music intact? Anyways, after saying this, I’ve found this app over the years to be absolutely superb. It really enhances the already good sound reproduction of an IPhone. Keep up the good work, and please update me McDSP:)

It’s been with me through Greece, Holland, the Transvaal, Namibia and the Kruger Game Park. Love it.

No to bad App sound is very good.However very poor in functions : like create new album . Potcast is not working to, so by paying £4 you have no radio plus nobody is replying on questions.

After a long spell of it not working I thought I'd install it again. I'm very pleased to say it's working perfectly on my iPad 2. It's a fantastic app for playing music, it makes everything sound consistent so you don't get sudden changes in levels and dynamics from song to song. I also use it for spoken audio now that Apple's books doesn't have features such as repeat. I find the playlist manipulation a bit clumsy and non intuitive, but you get used to it. I would highly recommend this as a much better alternative to Apple's default player. I once used it for a party playlist, through a powerful PA system, and the music sounded way better than default iPad music player (I tried both, for comparison, playing the same three songs).

Oh boy, this is such a great idea, adjustable EQ and compression in an app that accesses all your music on your iPod etc. It sounds great, especially with Rock Music BUT it is full of bugs, at random navigation buttons disappear, controls don't work properly and it simply stops playing the full list of songs in a playlist. I really expected more from McDSP a very highly regarded audio company who specialise in plug-ins for computer recording. I have messaged their support only to be ignored and noticed that this app isn't being updated or bug fixed. Maybe they thought it a good idea to use the respected McDSP name and develop an IOS app and after poor sales gave up the ghost... Either way I am disappointed and frustrated that a great idea that is really useful for people who want more control over the sound coming out of their Apple devices have been abandoned ....

Why has this not been fixed yet? Still crashing on iPad. Don't waste your money.

It's been 4-5years since first usage of this app, it still works perfectly fine on iPhone, but it crashes when I open it on iPad. Both the iPhone and the iPad are running the 2.1.0 version.

I have had the app for years not one problem, all of a sudden it crashes after launch. No communication from the developers. Tut tut!
