LoveJunk: Waste Removal

We moved house and of course we where left with a lot of cardboard boxes . I came across Love Junk whilst searching how to get rid of them. Really easy to use, just took some pics and gave a small description of what I needed and within minutes I had quotes. Within no time the boxes were collected. The collector was super responsive and so was Clare from Love Junk. You can create favourite collectors and within a few days I was contacting Pete again to collect more stuff from the house move. I would highly recommend this service and I will most definitely use them again. Brilliant.

Looking to get rid of larger pieces of junk isn’t easy to sort out. Facebook is full of people offering to do it but I’m always worried that someone would take it and just fly tip it. I recently had a Fridge/Freezer that need to be removed which I know was going to cost, going to any dump. Fortunately on my councils website they suggested using Love Junk. It was super easy to sign up, take some images of what you want removed and then wait for people to bid for the work. All the bidders have approved licenses and you pay directly through the app so you don’t have to find cash. The guys I used arrived when I expected them and was a simple transaction. You can also ‘Favourite’ certain collectors so you can deal direct on the App which apparently makes it slightly cheaper for them. Brilliant idea!

Tumbler dryer collected within hours ! James who collected very polite and friendly… good communication during waiting time . altogether a pleasant experience making life easier . I recommend to anyone who has anything needing disposing to give them a call

Saw this by chance when trying to get rid of a Wicky play frame which I assembled for my grandchildren almost six years ago in our garden. The grandkids and their friends and cousins had a great time playing on it but they have now outgrown the frame. It was still in good working order and I offered it for free within the neighbourhood. I had no takers and before taking the chain saw to it I looked for ways to get rid of it for use by other children. I found the app and it worked perfectly for me. I received three offers within half an hour. I selected the cheapest, contacted the contractor through the app, arranged date and time for collection and was very happy to see the play frame taken away by friendly and efficient people. I think the concept behind this app is brilliant because it allows reuse of items rather than them ending up in landfill and it takes care of the headache of transporting heavy and large items.

It was my first time using lovejunk and it was super easy to use the app. I just uploaded pictures of the trash and it took me a second to get responses. The rubbish was removed timely and without any disturbance.

Got in touch with Lovejunk as had a large sofa to dispose of. They were efficient and gave me the expected time frame for collection. They arrived within the time frame and removed the sofa and I will definitely use them again as I have another piece of furniture to dispose of later on.

Instead of paying the council high costs, I was able to find a local business man who was half the price. He picked up as agreed and payment was a cinch.

The app is great and fairly easy to use, but the collector wanted to reschedule at the last minute, leaving me high and dry. Thanks to the app I was quickly able to find another collector but he was of course considerably more expensive. I suspect the service works best if you are not pressed for time. The customer support I received was excellent, however, and I would use this service again.
