Lucky Season: King of Fools by LynxMinx
This magnificent game was unique, and had an innovative storyline, novel inventory usage, and wonderful tasks to complete. There was a good variety of HO scenes and a puzzle or mini-game to suit every player, from games of skill to coding, from assembling jigsaw-type puzzles to potion brewing. Collectibles were indicated on the teleport map. Unfortunately I am unable to rate this adventure as highly as I would have wanted. The game was incredibly glitchy! First of all, Elephant should not be putting exclamation points on the map if there are NO available actions. An objective is NOT an available action, and it’s extremely annoying to be searching in a scene where there is nothing to accomplish. Secondly, the lack of touchscreen sensitivity on the gameplay interface was appalling. It needs to be increased. For example, in the mini-game where you have to trace shapes, like a heart and a shamrock, it took me about 50 tries to get the shamrock, and it should have been very simple. I am a seasoned player and I know exactly what I am doing. It was also incredibly difficult at times to apply inventory items. Next, collectibles were shown being collected out of turn. The collectible you pick up should be the next one to show up in the collectible exhibit, but they did not match up. NOTE TO ELEPHANT: pay close attention to the aforementioned advice. Remember, I can reap a ton of revenue for you as well as block sales if there are problems. If issues are not corrected, I have no choice but to block revenues until they are fixed. I am giving this advice freely. Kindly remember that I do not get paid to help you, and I work with many developers. It is incredibly exhausting, and you have never once shown any gratitude for the time I have spent advising you. I never charge for advice, but once in a while a coupon code to unlock a game would be a nice way of thanking me for all the effort that I expend to advise you. However, my first responsibility is to the gamers. I want to ensure that their experience is nothing short of amazing! My actual review will be 3.5 stars. My deduction of stars was based on the problematic, glitchy gameplay. You said you updated the game but I did not see any improvements. It’s unfortunate because it was an addictive and imaginative thrill ride. I loved the game but detested the incorrect map marks and lack of touchscreen sensitivity. Still, I loved the creative leprechaun theme and the fact that you incorporated elements of humor as well
