App doesn’t work properly
The light itself is good but the app is absolutely useless. Hard to work and a lot of the time will not connect to the light via Bluetooth.

Have to reconnect the actual device every time you want it to come on, which literally defeats the point of it coming on at a certain time and going off at a certain time via the app. Just buy the bulb with a switch it’s easier and saves money
The app is terrible. I paid extra for the natural sunrise feature as advertised, but it is misleading. It functions the same as standard T5 lamps for £30. The app does not work at all.
Won’t let me connect to my light and has left it off so can’t turn it back on without this app so have to go get a different lamp
I love the idea of LumenIZE but there are definitely things that need fixing and improving. It’d be nice to have a factory reset button on the app. Having to do the off 3 seconds, on 1 second, off 3 seconds three times via the cable’s switch is a pain and not ideal when you have an animal in the vivarium. In general the issue of flashing lights is common - if you’re messing with schedules even if it’s for a charge at 8pm when it’s 8am - the light goes mad with flashing and flickering. I’ve also found that half the time the app doesn’t actually save my settings. For example I’ll set the light to go to 0% at 8:30pm and even click ‘copy decide’ to try to make sure it saves that change. But if I go into another light then back to the one I changed - it’ll say 100% again instead of 0. The only way I’ve been able to get changes to stick is to bookend my settings (ex setting 8:31 to 0% - that one goes back to 100% but my 8:30 setting will stay at 0% so I can then delete the 8:31 slot). Another issue which has to do with the flashing is I notice instead of a gradual increase, my UV bar seems to switch on to 100% initially then dims back down to gradually increase over the hour I set, obviously it turning on at 100% (I have it set to go from 0-100 over an hour) is not ideal. I even tried setting it to go from 0 to 1% and it still flashes on to 100% initially. It’d be nice to create schedules ‘offline’ too so the lights aren’t affected as you experiment. And also a calendar to automatically create seasons. I do love the idea of this app but it definitely needs more work and improving. Especially with how much Arcadia advertises the LumenIZE system, the app and programming really needs some attention.
The lights seem ok - although they occasionally decide 100% brightness is all they want to do. However the main problem is the control app. As others have noted it doesn’t scale properly with the Dynamic Island so on some pages it’s very difficult to tap the right spot to exit the page. Other issues include the sliders for controlling the brightness at set times are locked so I cannot change the settings after having set the light up - I also think this is due to the app not scaling properly for a larger screen so the touches are not being registered on the slider location
Hasn’t turned on just flashes when I click full power test then goes off. The brightness settings don’t move so you can’t adjust the brightness even if my lamp was working
Sometimes it doesn’t turn on at all, sometimes it turns on. The app is rubbish and not worth the price you pay for the kit! Please fix the bugs so that is syncs better! :(
Awesome LED lamp have been waiting a long time for a lamp like this but the app is awful. It clearly hasn’t been tested properly for iPhone: • Doesn’t fit properly on the screen and the Arcadia logo disappears behind the Dynamic Island • Can’t go back when looking at data manager due to the above issue - the back arrow at the top left doesn’t work. • Can’t delete time slots. I wished I had just bought the original Jungle Dawn bar until this app has been properly tested.
The idea behind having automated on off cycles is not just to make life easier looking after reptiles, but to also have consistent seasonal changes too. This app does not allow you to input dates to switch between custom “seasonal” profiles. You have to manually go into the app and switch from the winter schedule to the spring, summer and so on. And if you forget to switch it over your reptiles skip that season and so straight from winter to summer cycles. !🤦🏻♂️! Why the Arcadia did not think about adding a calendar to the app to enable users to setup Sedona to mothers kinda contradicts then advertising LumeniZe lamps as autistic seasonal on/off cycles. When using the app, it’s like they’ve had a grate idea but missed out the key features that make it grate & user friendly… You also cannot setup profiles, for example. Yemen’s Viv. Pythons Viv, panther’s viv & so on. And assign lights to those vivs individually under different settings. At the moment. You need to copy and past custom light settings to the lights individually. Grr. Or add custom notes to the profile for that specific Viv setup, fore example; feeding info. Instead you need to cram all your notes on one notes box for all your animals & setups. Personally it would make life so simpler to have applied folders. Like you can do on your computer. Create new folder, assign lights to that folder and call it gecko’s Viv… in this folder have the ability to add a notes section & feeding calendar. This would make it so much MORE user friendly and practical!! Having everything in one place for each individual setup within the app. But instead. They released it without thinking about all theses basic things and the app is not nice to use at all. Instead of making something practical and grate. They decided to release grate technology with an app that’s like buying an aftermarket £1 remote from pound land to control for bran new 85” LG smart tv that has buttons that don’t function the way they should. I love Arcadia products and lighting. They are one if the best out there but please put more effort and useful “user friendly” reachers on your APP!! Like a Calendar option to add to the seasonal settings. Be able to have folders to add multiple Viv’s to enable us to keep everything & info organised and tidy. When I open the app. I’d expect to see all the folders to access to add info to this or that Viv or change settings. This would also be more user friendly for shops too that sell
