Useless
Only works with rear cam. Can't place it on surface and fix or see the data because the cam is touching the surface. !! Useless.
Lux Meter ist nicht kostenlos (es kostet 1.99), enthält jedoch keine In-App-Käufe oder Abonnements.

Simple to use app. I am guessing it's more of an indicator rather than an absolute measure. It showed me that my new replacement LED tube ( to replace fluorescent unit) wasn't as bright as the fluorescent tube even though I thought it was brighter (still LED is better as no flicker). It showed manufacturers claims that the output was the same wasn't true. Some inconsistencies with the readings, but probably more to do with the phone hardware. Another app to get more out of the phone. Cheaper than a proper meter, and you probably have your phone with you all the time so it's there when you are trying to make your mind up in the lighting store!
We cannot generate consistent readings with this App. One of our consulting engineers placed a professional meter next to the App and got widely different readings. We didn't expect the App to be super accurate but hoped that it would give our designers "ball park" readings. The reality is it appears to be no where near close. The same App on different iPhones generates different readings in the same location. Does this camera generate readings from the front or back camera? Do you place it on the lit surface or focus the camera on the surface? The documentation is lacking so it hard to know.
Send me my money back!
I was looking for an app that could help me match lighting sources. When replacing burned out sources, it's important to match the color temp of the replacement with other existing sources. So I downloaded this app in hopes that it would be a handy tool. Not so much. I tested the app with two banks of fluorescent tubes, each was clearly either daylight or a much warmer color. If I could upload a photo, you would easily see the difference. Yet this app rated them at essentially the same degrees Kelvin, 5150 (actual: 7 degrees different). Maybe the eye and camera is very sensitive to color shifts and consequently it's too much to ask of an inexpensive app to resolve the difference. But using this app to chose replacement bulbs in a home or office would give unreliable results in matching sources.
It seems to be accurate in determining white balance settings manually for a DSLR. I like this app a lot.
Its number is different from a Tonda 1010B LUX meter at my hand by about half of the physical LUX meter. I think I just wasted this money.
I have to tell you; this app works just as well as a professional device. For accurate results, check your phone's camera. My professional machine very close to the output value. Definitely recommended.
The app utilizes phone's sensor to measure illumination, I'm an electronic engineer it's useful for my job. Lots of useful feature, nice interface, easy to use and the measurement is accuracy. It save me a lot of time and money
This is an awesome app. I can quickly and accurately measure light intensity. The interface is intelligently designed, very easy to use. I absolutely like it!
