After a couple of years of good app use, the app has stopped loading and is worthless. I tried deleting it and bringing it back but still doesn't load. Because it doesn't load I can't reach out for help on the app. I'm very disappointed

The app will not load.

First off, this app is fantastic. It has every site for Apple/Mac/iStuff you could possibly need/want, and you can choose which sites show up in the main feed. It is a literal plethora of news and information. If you’re an Apple nerd, you need this app. Second, the app itself works flawlessly. I have been using it on various devices for many, many years and almost never encounter any problems. Feeds refresh and update quickly and articles and sites load smoothly. In the *extremely* rare case an issue pops up, it is quickly addressed and back in working order at an impressive speed. Finally, the developer is first-rate. The app is well maintained and replies to user feedback are handled quickly, politely, and professionally - truly an example to his peers. The premium upgrade is worth every penny, not just to remove the ads, but to support a developer of this caliber. I highly recommend this app, and that you check out his other app, TechNewsTube, for all non-Apple-related tech news, as it is just as excellent and informative as MacHash.

App used to work GREAT. Now it crashes after a few seconds. Not sure what’s going on, but the developer needs to fix it. EDIT: The developer responded and fixed it!!!

Good news, various sources. The ads can get overbearing… but also a very inexpensive option for no ads.

They run ads that flip you to a web browser. The ads are at best misleading and at worst straight spam. They promise you won something on Amazon. Developer response was that they have little control over the ads, that they are ad supported, and for a price can pay to turn them off. I have had the app for sometime. I don’t mind the ads until they started to hijack my session. You may have little control but you do have control. From a search of recent reviews it seems like this is an issue for most or all users as many reviews state this. They asked for a screen shot which is not possible because when the app comes up it flips you to a browser. By the time you flip back it has moved to the next ad. I have really liked this app but unless they can get a handle on this add I will delete it.

…fix it ASAP, it auto-redirects to browser or Pandora or who knows. Will delete app if this is not fixed soon. It should never be able to happen.
