This app keeps turning off set ip for my two lights and I have to delete the app and go back and do it again. Frustrating

Using this app to control my smart bulb. Overall is very useful. But one problem is, I cannot set the brightness of the bulb by using the timer. E.g at 8pm set 100% bright, 9pm 50% bright, 10pm 25% bright The timer only have function to on or off the bulb. Have to manually go inside the app, go to brightness setting to change the brightness. Hope developers will add function in the app timer, to adjust brightness, not just timer to on or off the bulb only. Thank you.

Hi, I have been using your app with the WiFi Lamp for a long time and I am still using it. One thing I would like to see this app has is: Can you possibly add a ‘Power ON state’ that I see some of my other Switch app may have. That is, you can choose to set the Power state of the lamp to ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ or ‘resume’ at the physical switch turned On. This will be particular useful for older folks when they don’t have the control of the WiFi lamp with their phones, and they want to turn on the physical switch to turn on the lamp. I really do hope you can add this useful function to the app that will be helpful! Thanks!

Won’t connect been trying for hour. Always happens when need to reset the light. Don’t waste money and time get the Kasa TP link

My light has been stuck on red for weeks cause the app won’t work. I have wifi and data the light has a mind of its own. It connects randomly when it feels like it every week for a couple hours. If I’ve chosen a light setting for me to sleep and want to wake up in the morning to find things in my room I can’t reset it to normal because the connection won’t work, and I’m left in darkness. The customer support is awful and I filed the issue nearly a year ago now with no response. Just purchase a light with a remote instead.

I bought one of the bulbs for this app and it all worked as it should, after about 30 frustrating mins of messing about and trying to connect properly. So after a few weeks of working well I bought another bulb, this is when the problems started. I couldn’t connect the second bulb no matter what I tried. I eventually gave up only to come back to it months later (today) to try again. I now have the weird situation where my original bulb works through Alexa but this app can’t find it. The new bulb now works but only through this app!! It’s all a bit of a mess and there seems to be no logical reason for it other than a poor quality product. Great when it works, but there is an inherent risk in relying on it to do that.

Pretty good! works well! I think you should make it possible to add up to about 20 custom scenes.

Works perfectly fine for me..easy to setup and use.

Sadly I cannot connect to IFTTT or other services that require you to login to your account to authorise. Once selecting European server the next page fails to load giving the error ‘ The data of page confirmation does not exist’
