Because why 5 stars apple magnifier, because, it is useful app for using the flashlight feature to adjust to like off or on low/bright even your zooming in thing works too when it comes to look things up close when like example a toy with a defect on it that is hard to identify the zoom in & out attachment is helpful when there is a defect on a toy or other miscellaneous things that can also be identified to. 👍🏻

Need two hand to be usable and has some us challenges like hard to find primary controls. Example turn on flash

Initially, this was a great app, and then one day I opened it, and the camera view was reversed to front facing. I even tried deleting and re-loading as playing around with the settings did nothing.

I am legally blind and use the magnifier feature almost daily. I use it to read the check at a restaurant, food label nutrition info, any small print. It also works as a binocular. If I can’t figure out what is going on across the street or what car is parked in front of my house, I simply use the zoom feature to get a closer view. I love the ability to just click the home button three times to access the magnifier and don’t have to find it on my phone’s screen. Thank you Apple for a very handy app for those of us with poor vision. I’ve even shown friends who ordinarily need to get out their reading glasses to read menus or restaurant bills how to use this app and they are impressed!

Did the new IOS 18.0 update now it don’t detect and goes black screen!!! Filters can’t be used either as well as any other features. You set it up how you like it and it don’t work at all!!! Would’ve gave it 0 stars but it won’t let me do that either haha
