I’ve been a Soil maker with MakeSoil.org for several years. I’ve watched them grow in their sophistication and in their adaptability. So many apps are designed to distract you from life, or to engage you in things that are not really needed or take your money. . But Makesoil’s mission is at the heart of our humanity. It takes the simplest act, and turns it into a thing of joy and beauty. I am so glad they’ve created this app to make it even easier to reach out to people.

Make soil is soooo easy to use. I’ve been struggling to find a site near me that takes my home compost scraps and actually does something genuine with them. I downloaded this app and found one immediately! A community garden not far from home.

This app has helped me locate convenient locations to participate in climate change by starting with our soil and learning how to make it! An amazing resource to impact our planet!!
