Mamakoo - Food Travel Guides

I’ve used 4 of their guides on my trips and found great food at under-the-radar restaurants with just a few ratings. Totally worth it!

So much potential! Once the destination list bulks up, this is going to join my passport, phone, and clothes as a travel essential. The Eatinerary is the game changer; perfects days planned around phenomenal food. A traveling foodie’s best friend.

This app currently has very few locations- closest location to me is over 5 hours away. You have to pay to see restaurant names so while I would be interested in browsing the app I am not going to pay when there are no local locations that would be useful to me. I have deleted this app.

I recently visited NY and had no idea where to go and eat, so I used Mamakoo. From the search to the reservation, it was easy and intuitive. I had a great time with my mom and aunt. Highly recommend!!

I’m a New Yorker who love NYC local food and enjoy to discover the great restaurants. This app is good for someone who like to know the best local food not just whatever restaurants from the advertising. The app design is so cute and easy to see and I like the part that I can read the history/ background of the food. This app still seems new and not many listings are showing yet but I feel like this can be reliable app for who wants to find real / good / local / hidden restaurants.

Follow on Instagram and use the app with friends and family, so helpful in finding places that suits us all.

Moving beyond Yelp reviews, this app is dedicated to foodies and folks who are looking for reliable recommendations to eateries in metropolitan areas. The app is easy to use: select a city and you’re offered a list of places to eat and notable dishes that are part of the local cuisine. If you don’t see one of your favorite spots, simply type it up. Once it appears, hit the ❤️ icon and your stamp of approval is given! Future versions should include the ability to manually input restaurant information, especially if the spot is off the beaten path. Thoroughly enjoying this app and looking forward to contributing to its growth!

A lot of apps have tried to do something similar and failed. This is just such a smart way to do it. lots of potential and good easy design
