Drill into the character meanings
Mandarin AI is an amazing tool for anyone learning Mandarin. Have you ever had to type a sentence into Google Translate and painstakingly delete characters one by one to analyze their meanings? This tool solves that problem. Mandarin AI allows me to type a sentence in either Mandarin or English, and it will provide the Mandarin equivalent of that sentence. It then breaks down the meaning of the entire sentence, giving definitions for all the words and groups of characters that form words or phrases. Additionally, it lets me tap on each word or phrase to understand the individual meanings and the history of the characters. This app is very well done! Now, if I have just five seconds to look something up, I can do it quickly and efficiently without spending ages deciphering meanings. There is a small bug when using voice input: it duplicates the input on iPhone 12 Pro os 17.5.1. A feature request I have is the ability to star phrases and sentences, not just words and characters, maybe with 3 different types of stars so you can have the ability to decide what goes in each list while you learn or a way to search the list.
