MapApp NZ South Island

Does exactly what you need it to. Great to have for a quick reference / backup for hiking / skiing / exploring the south island. Couldn’t find another map with topographic maps for NZ. Thanks!

It is great to have the NZ topographic maps on the iPhone and coupled gps to show current location. Maps are always North up. There is no Head up option which would be useful to identify mountains and landmarks. Also the zoom level cuts out at a magnification that suits good eyes. It would be good if zoom went a couple of pinches larger to ease readability. If those two things were fixed it would rate 5 stars.

Latest update does not work! Location on the map is no longer shown. Please fix, as this is such a great app!

No more map edges. Fast and no fuss. Great search features. Love it.

Needs updated for newer phones

Been using this app for several years now. Indispensable tool for trampers but always take a paper version. Latest version tends to forget the last place viewed and reverts back to full island zoom when app relaunched. Please fix?

Great app! Only fault I can single out is the altitude, my altitude usually shows a really low number and no where near the exact number, would be nice if this was fixed !

Flattens iPad battery if left on, was promised an update with new features but still waiting and it's too expensive for what it is.
