MARCO POLO Discovery Tours

I find these tours and ideas to be perfect on city breaks and visits to places. Always easy to follow and accurate. Lots of information. Best of all, provides a clear destination and start to discover when in a new place.

Bought the book as it said free touring app which I assumed was an electronic version of the book.for Iceland it has 2 car tours and a hiking tour guide. All are specific routes. And that’s it. Also has the same for every country. You don’t need to buy the book the app is free buy useless unless you want to go on the exact route

first tested in ionic greek islands zakynthos and kephalonia. Works great After reading marco polo books because it has an itinerary that quickly in the car you press directions to the places you want to go and you can go easily skipping several. found ir excellent and helpful Only problems is that app crashes sometimes and could have more info and description

You can download various ready made tours (1/2 day to several days) for a whole load of destinations. The information is far from exhaustive - you will need to pair this with other research- but it is a nice source of ideas of things to do.

Bought the guide, downloaded the app. Guide not available on app for Krakow...

Idealer kleiner Reiseführer mit guter Kartenfunktion - mehr braucht man nicht für den Städtetrip

Immer wieder schöne Ideen für einen Kurztrip. Noch schöner wäre es, wenn die Navigation für z. B. Radtouren direkt in der App funktionieren würde. Wenn es keine gute Netzabdeckung gibt, nützt auch die Offlinekarte nicht. Man muss dann alle paar Minuten auf die Karte schauen.

Solange ich keinen Tourvorschlag zu Fuß finde, oder die Sehenswürdigkeiten und Infos aus der Printversion, nützt mir die App gar nichts
