UPDATED REVIEW, 23 August 2024: Still two stars, despite two frustrating weeks of being unable to log in and no way to contact the company for technical issues; the App Support link on the App Store, here, only sends the user to Marcos.com, and there’s nothing on their website for help or even to simply contact anyone for anything at Marcos. While the credit card options have improved slightly, I feel rather uncomfortable seeing my credit card number and security code unmasked when typing it in. Makes me nervous that the app/website is not being careful when submitting them, either. Honestly, I’d prefer an Apple Pay option to feel most secure about putting my credit card information on the app. The pizza is so good, but the app/website is so frustrating; someday, the frustration will outweigh the desire to get Marco’s Pizza. UPDATED REVIEW, 24 April 2021: Two stars. This app worked beautifully until I used it to place an order at a different franchise. Ever since, the app defaults to that one with no way to change it back. If I change locations, it STILL puts the order in through the location I don’t want. This is merely really frustrating when I’m putting an order in for delivery because I’d get an error that I was outside the location’s delivery zone and then have to start all over again at the correct location. However, it’s thoroughly infuriating when I put an order in for carry out and have to drive across town to get the pizza after first going to the nearest location, the one I wanted to order from. Original review, 4 stars: I was happy to see a Marcos app once again and immediately downloaded and opened it. I was able to log in to my account and see my previous orders and everything as expected. I added my usual pizzas to a new order without issue. Unfortunately, unlike on my Mac, where I can use credit cards I’ve previously put into my Apple Wallet, such integration doesn’t seem to be available yet in the app. Since I didn’t have my wallet within reach, I went back to the website on my laptop (since the website’s checkout functions never worked on my phone in the past). Unfortunately, the pizzas in my cart weren’t there when I logged in, which was disappointing since I’d expect them still to be there since it’s the same account being used on two different devices. I’m hopeful that improvements will be made because sometimes, I’m just too lazy to go get my laptop, and calling the store to put in an order means the possibility to get my order wron
This is by far the worst food ordering app!! And tracking your order ha ha hasn’t works in months.
I am unable to login to the app. When I try to use the reset password button I get an error message and when I try to “sign up” it will not let me because my phone number is already in use.
I can not place an order on the app what so ever. Pick up or Delivery. They send these amazing offers (50% off menu priced pizza, or BOGO) that say for use with online or app orders only. Then I place my order only to be told it is rejected. But I can go on DoorDash and pay higher prices, and added fees. It doesn’t make any sense that a company would allow an application to be broken this long. If they’re not purposely doing this to not honor their deals. I called the store and they claim they can’t honor online coupons. It’s been months now for delivery, but recently they are rejecting my Pick Up orders as well.
I’ve tried over the last year to place online orders. Every single time it tells me I have to login as guest and then create an account… even though I have an account and had rewards to use. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Idk what the owners of this company are thinking. This was our favorite of the chain pizzas… but because of this awful app we won’t do it again. One time I ordered online but it never sent the order. We ended up waiting about 45 min before I physically called the store and spoke to someone who hardly even spoke English unfortunately and couldn’t even understand the issue I had. Ended up ordering from local business instead. Get it right, Marco’s!
This app is so bad that, every time I open it to order, I think about getting pizza from somewhere else - and about half the time, that’s exactly what I do. Does it save defaults for things you order, like boneless wings? Nope - once again, I accidentally ordered them with sauce instead of plain, even with a long record of ordering plain. Does it avoid recommending things the restaurant is out of? Nope - so I clicked on the pop up suggesting a salad, but could not order one because it wasn’t available (and today, when salads are available, it didn’t suggest one). So many, many problems for so very, very long. And you’ve lost hundreds of dollars in just my business because of it. At least my kids are now favoring another chain so I might avoid this app.
The app is difficult to order through. One wrong click and you have to start over. The delivery is through Door Dash and they are absolute rubbish. You don’t know your delivery is door dash until after you order. There’s is no contact for customer service through the app. Not bad pizza though.
How can a company the size of Marco’s have such a horrible app? Makes me sign in almost every time and forgets my payment method often. So bad I usually skip Marcos and just buy from Dominos.
I have to use my laptop to order now.
