marfaMESH is an event-based generative art exploration held during Art Blocks Marfa Weekend September 21-24, 2023. All attendees are eligible to participate and given marfaMESH NFC cards at check-in.
Throughout the event, as you meet and interact with other guests, you can utilize the marfaMESH app and tap the back of your mobile phone to their marfaMESH NFC cards to capture data. This anonymous data, which includes NFC card UIDs, geolocation zones and information from photos such as scene composition and color values, are used to build an evolving personal artwork that we hope will create an artistic chronicle of connections with people and experiences.
The NFT artwork will be minted directly to participants beginning on Friday, October 13, 2023.
