Love this game to pieces I’m obsessed with this game. I can’t compare to any other game other than this. Loads of characters you can think of loads of players online that you play against opponents that makes the game so interesting and shards and everything more characters so interesting love it all the time you’ve got my vote any time

Somewhere inside this is a complex puzzle game that mixes strategy with RPG elements. However, after playing it for a couple of weeks I still don’t get all of the systems but by now I’m facing harder and harder bosses which is incentivising me to spend money. I want a fun puzzle game not a freemium model nagging to spend cash. Fun for a while but you’ve got to invest too much time and money to make it worth while.
New devs to worried about making money
New devs came in to fix a game that had pretty much been broken by the number of characters and a lack in the ability to build a roster. In their chase to fix the problem this game has become a big money grab. Not so much an issue but there are constant bugs and support has gone from excellent to non-existent. Admittedly, they are doing a lot to keep the game fresh but at a cost to reliability. The game itself is pretty solid and a level of depth you wouldn’t expect from a match 3 game. But come on devs, how about a bit more focus on the quality of your work?

I’ve just started playing this, all I can access so far is the first set of levels. I can’t unlock any modes until I finish the first set, but it’s broken. To play the next node, it says I must use Captain America, yet he’s not in my roster and I have no obvious way of unlocking him. Therefore I can’t continue and can’t actually play any of it.
10 years on and still great
Have been playing MPQ for over 9 years and its still a great game, but Not without some faults, ISO is hard to get enough of when you start and roster slots for characters need a lot of hero points spent to keep up. Both these items can be bought for real money, but they can also be earned in game, so you can be a free to play player if your happy to play the long game. The new development team seem to have a plan going forward and happy to see where that goes. Any game that can keep you hooked for more than a few years has to have something about it so give it a go and see if it’s for you.
