Introducing Matee – a social networking app for college and university students to make lifelong friendships. Meet like-minded peers on your campus and plan fun activities for hangouts. In today’s technological society, Matee encourages students to have more face-to-face interactions with others. Without the right friends in college, students will not be able to experience the full potential college experience.

Students now have an easier way to reach and connect with their peers all over their campus. Users can schedule activities on or around campus to meet their match. Try out a coffee break, food with friends, or a study session and start meeting new friends today.
Features:
• No ghosting! You can only schedule an event 12 hours in advance.
• Engage! Once you are matched and scheduled with a new friend, you only have hour to chat before the activity starts. (We include a 15-minute grace period for unseeable events. I.E running late or traffic to notify your match.)
• Genuine connections! Our system matches you with others who have similar interest and taste as you. There are no profile pictures because friends are not based off of looks.
• Safety first! You can only make a Matee account with a college or university email account. This helps us verify your school and helps us keep our users safe.
How it works:
• Download Matee from the Apple Store.
• Create an account using your college or university email address.
• Verify your account so we know its you!
• Finishing setting up an account by adding information about your major and interest.
• Choose an activity and time you want to meet new friends.
• After getting a connection, chat with them to make plans to meet.
• Have fun making new friends!
